Liliam Animus Introduction – Next Banner Event
With her banner just around the corner, Liliam is shaping up to be one of the most impactful Light/Dark units we’ve seen in Etheria: Restart so far. Combining guaranteed crowd control, shield-piercing damage, self-buffs, and immunity to some of the most disruptive mechanics in the game, Liliam might just redefine the meta on day one.
Let’s break down her kit and why she’s being labelled by many as the first real example of power creep in Etheria.
Liliam Skill Overview

Liliam is an offensive constant-type animus designed for burst damage, turn control, and consistency. What makes her instantly stand out is the guaranteed crowd control element built into her skillset — something no other unit in the game currently offers.
Skill 1 – Basic Damage + Lifesteal
- Deals damage to a single target.
- Heals Liliam for a portion of the damage dealt.
- Great for sustain and synergizes with her overall burst playstyle.
Passive – Immunity to Control and Turn Meter Manipulation
- Liliam is completely immune to all forms of crowd control and turn meter reduction.
- This alone makes her a threat in both PvP and PvE, where skills like stun, freeze, taunt, and action delay are commonly used.
- It also means she doesn’t need immunity sets like other high-damage units, freeing her gear slots for full offensive builds.
Skill 2 – Execute + AoE Stun
- Deals two hits to a single enemy.
- Damage scales based on missing HP.
- If the target’s HP falls below a set threshold, they are guaranteed to be stunned — no accuracy check required.
- If the target is killed, all enemies are guaranteed to be stunned.
- This gives her insane tempo control potential. If positioned properly, she can chain kills into full team lockdown.
Ultimate – Self Buff + Max HP Reduction
- Grants herself Increased Attack and Increased Speed.
- Then deals massive single-target damage that:
- Ignores shields.
- Reduces the target’s Max HP based on damage dealt.
- The shield pierce makes her a direct counter to units using Artisan Shell or heavy shielding strategies.
- The HP reduction is especially punishing in long fights or against revivers.
Why she’s considered a power creep
Liliam essentially combines the best of several unit types:
- Self-sufficient DPS (buffs, healing, burst).
- Crowd control enabler.
- PvP disruption immune unit.
- Shield breaker and anti-healer.
She does all of this without needing Lattice investment to be functional, although like any unit, Lattices will naturally take her even further. If her multipliers are even decent, she’s going to dominate both the Summit and Fearless arenas.
Early Impressions: PVE VS PVP

So far, Liliam seems geared primarily for PvP:
- Her guaranteed stun ignores the 90% base debuff chance standard, bypassing resistance checks.
- Immunity to CC and action delay makes her incredibly hard to stop.
- Max HP reduction punishes defensive comps or revive loop setups.
- Shield ignoring means Artisan, and similar teams are easy targets.
In PvE, she has potential too—especially if multipliers are strong—but she’ll need testing to see if she matches PvE staples like Massiah or Diting.
Final thoughts
Liliam is loaded. From crowd control to damage, she has almost no weaknesses on paper. Whether you’re building for top-tier PvP or want an uncounterable nuke for strategic boss encounters, this animus has the toolkit to take over.
But of course, we’ll need to test her in real end-game scenarios before making final calls.
