Ultimate Beginner Guide Part 3
Welcome back, Hyperlinkers! If you’ve been keeping up with the grind, you already know that Etheria: Restart is a deep, strategic beast—and it’s even wilder when you’re playing it raw. No freebies. No pre-reg packs. No content creator perks. Just pure grit and gameplay. This is Day 3 of a no-help Free to Play run through, and let’s just say… it’s been a ride.
Whether you’re a hardcore free-to-play grinder or just curious how far you can get without premium boosts, this breakdown is for you.
What Is the Free to Play Challenge in Etheria: Restart?

First things first—this isn’t your typical CBT experience. We are playing this on a clean beta server, with no global pre-registration rewards, no in-game events, and absolutely no spending. Think of it as an ultra-hardcore free-to-play path. It’s as raw as it gets—playing the game like a fully launched AAA title, with no shortcuts.
And the goal? Simple: hit endgame content, build competitive teams, and show the community exactly what’s possible with effort and planning.
Day 3 Progress: From Level 16 to 27 and Beyond

In just two full days and the start of a third, our account shot up from Level 16 to 27. That’s impressive progress, especially considering the stamina limitations and lack of outside help. The secret? Efficient EXP farming through Investigation mode and smart resource management.
Here’s a quick peek at the standout units carrying us right now:
- Lian (5★ and climbing): The main carry and absolute MVP. Max investment.
- Kraken: Excellent utility with AoE freeze and speed rotation.
- Dorothy: Healing support, scaling off Attack. Still hunting ideal stat drops.
Even with limited drops and stamina, this squad is handling early to mid-game content like champs.
Priority Areas for Fast Progression

So how do you push this hard with minimal help? Focused goals. Here’s what you should be doing by Day 3:
Push to Terramaton and Doki Doki
Even if drops aren’t consistent until Hard III, getting there early opens up better gear farming. Terramaton provides critical gold-level Matrix sets and other progression materials. Same goes for DokiDoki—push as far as you can to start reaping the long-term benefits.
Optimize Your Prowess and Skills
You want to be farming blue and purple prowess mats ASAP. Key focus: reduce skill cooldowns and increase burst potential for your primary damage dealers. Characters like Kraken really start to shine once their skills rotate faster.
Speed Matters: Equip Sets Wisely
Speed is king, especially in PvP and fast-clear scenarios. Make sure your lead units are rocking Speed sets and rotating ahead of the enemy. A fast crowd-control unit can change the entire outcome of a match.
Early Arena Strategy – Free Wins, Big Rewards

Don’t sleep on Arena, even in the early days. The matchmaking is forgiving at the start, with “robot” teams easily farmable for wins. In our example we have Kraken consistently going first, freezing the enemy, and setting up easy sweeps. If you’re not clearing 10–15 quick wins a day, you’re leaving resources on the table.
Arena also directly ties into achievement milestones, unlocking more currency and summon materials. That’s huge for free-to-play players.
Union & Shops: The Underrated Lifelines

Even with zero outside help, the Union Shop, Summon Shop, and Arena Shop have been clutch. Prioritize the following:
- Purple & Orange Shadowprints – for promoting characters.
- Etheria Coins – for enhancing Shell Companions and gear.
- Weekly Red Shadowprint – make sure you grab this before reset.
Also, make sure your guild is active. A dead guild helps no one. The Union system provides extra rewards and shop access that can seriously speed up your climb.
Hidden Gem: Ember Challenge

The Ember system is another essential piece of the puzzle. It’s a PvE mode that grants bonus loot, Shadow Prints, and even SSR drops if you’re lucky. Stack up points and claim rewards daily—it’s free value and a fun way to flex your team’s synergy.
Summons: 100 Pulls, No Cash Spent

Now let’s talk hype. Despite being Free to Play, the account hit 100 total summons by Day 3. How? Daily achievements, event currency, and Arena grind.
Highlights from this pull session:
- A SSR Unit (Khloros)
- Kraken Dupes
- Dorothy The Wisher
- Oboro (Darkness Unit with late-fight scaling potential)
These pulls opened up new strategies and gave the account even more firepower to handle harder content.
Pro Tips and Closing Thoughts
If you’re aiming to replicate this kind of free-to-play progression, here’s what you need to keep in mind:
- Stick to a core team of 4–5 characters. Don’t spread resources too thin.
- Prioritize gear over dupes. A well-geared unit can outperform higher-starred ones.
- Join a guild early and participate in all daily events.
- Invest in Shell Companions and make use of Shadowprints from multiple shops.
- Use your stamina efficiently. Don’t waste it on low-priority modes early on.
This Free to Play series is a masterclass in efficient, no-frills progression. It’s also a great reminder that Etheria: Restart doesn’t force you to spend to succeed—you just need game knowledge, focus, and a solid plan.
In the Highlight Pull Session, you guys put Oboro as a units although he’s from Raid shadow legends^^.
Haha fixed sorry! joys of covering 2 games with the same named characters!
Alright! You guys are doing an incredible works so BIG W for it :) ! keep it going !
The page navigation at the bottom here (page 3) has the wrong buttons – shows 2 3 4 5 6 (like it was on page 1) instead of the expected (?) 1 2 4 5 6 like at the top.
