Asgard Divide x RAID Shadow Legends
Plarium has announced an exciting new promotional event called The Asgard Divide, bringing Norse Gods into RAID: Shadow Legends!
The Asgard Divide is a new time-limited event that will involve some already well-known game mechanics and something brand new!
This Event will see the first ever Event Dungeon, featuring a special new set, as well as a new Loyalty Program that will award players with a free Legendary Champion!
Four Norse Gods will join the game, Loki, Thor, Odin and Freyja all with their own lore to place them naturally within the world of Teleria.
Start Date: August 21st
End Date: October 24th
Loyalty Program End Date: 22nd November
Short Lore
Loki’s long-term goal is to bring about the total removal of the gods’ involvement in Teleria, and if that means their destruction, so be it.
He sees unfreezing the Waters of Life as an event that can upset the balance of power in Teleria and force the intervention of the gods in such a way that can be destroyed together or destroy one another.
As a part of his long plan, which has many stages, he seeks to free the Fire Knight from Exile’s End in the Mountains of Despair.
Freyja, with her powers of foresight, sees what Loki is attempting and that he has a host of Siroth-aligned Dwarves joining him.
Freyja takes this knowledge to Odin, who decrees that Loki must be stopped. The Fae of the Redspikes believe Loki’s actions could bring about terrible devastation of Teleria, if not its complete destruction.
Odin tells Thor it is his duty to stop Loki. Thor agrees, but he is nonetheless torn, for he and Loki were once close friends. He doesn’t know if he can stop Loki without hurting him, or worse.
Our players then join the story as Thor has set off on his quest to stop Loki, while Loki is on his way to free the Fire Knight. Meanwhile, Freyja and Odin plot in Asgard to see how they can bring a stop to Loki’s plan.
4 New Legendary Champions
Outside of Loki, who is available in the Loyalty Program, the remaining Legendaries will be available from other in-game Events and Activities, similar to how the Monster Hunter Event played out we suspect; with lots of Training Tournaments, Summon Boosts, and Guaranteed Events possibly incoming!
Champions will be available to acquire during and after the Event activation. Once acquired, Champions stay in the game permanently.
All of these Norse Gods will have a unique showcase background, with a touch of Norse Mythology to it – you can find a special Floor Stone covered in symbols, half-ruined Drakkar in the background, as well as other different items scattered all around the scene.
Loyalty Program
During The Asgard Divide Event, every user will have the opportunity to obtain Loki the Deceiver via the 14-Day Loyalty Program.
The Champion can be claimed on Day 7, before and after that, players will get various in-game resources.
Additionally, after collecting the Champion, players will be able to share a post on Facebook or Twitter to get extra rewards!
Day 8-14 will feature more in-game rewards, including a Rank 2 Perfect Soul for Loki the Deceiver.
Loki the Deceiver Champion Skills
Loki appears to be a very powerful support which brings lots of Buff and Debuff manipulation, whose skills thrive whilst under [Veil] or [Perfect Veil] buffs by either increasing their chances to do certain things or enhancing them further!
Loki will likely be incredibly annoying in the arena with his Evade mechanic, whilst also removing buffs and Turn Meter on his A3 Skill before placing [Increase Attack] buffs on his allies.
The A2 Skill is particularly interesting, and it is unclear how it will work on Auto currently which could reduce its value, as it can target both allies AND enemies, each with different effects, with it being a 50% Heal, and [Perfect Veil] on a single-ally if used on them, before applying [Buff Spread] to give the rest of your team an extra buff if Loki has a [Veil] or [Perfect Veil] buff.
When used on Enemies, the A2 Skill will place [Block Active Skills] and [Block Buffs] before applying [Debuff Spread] to spread 2 random debuffs on all enemies if Loki has a [Veil] or [Perfect Veil] buff.
Event Dungeon
The Event Dungeon is a brand-new game mechanic that we’ve never seen before, diversifying the player’s gaming experience during the Event.
The Event Dungeon will ONLY be available during the Asgard Divide campaign, with Odin Faefather as the Dungeon Boss.
This Dungeon features 30 Stages (Normal Difficulty) with difficulty rising with each Stage.
There will be no waves, only a Boss Battle, but beware, as Odin Faefather won’t be alone but joined by mighty warriors unique for each Stage of the Dungeon!
Players over level 6 will be able to enter this Event Dungeon and test their Might in Odin’s Trial!
Thanks! Dig me some Norse mythology that’s not Mervel! Old geek, or greek and norse fan. Great info to help pump Raid vibe.
When do you think we will start seeing teams in the optimizer?
Today (26th August)
So far, this event has been pretty fun although the drop rates on Pinpoint seem a bit stingy and curing a bit too generous. Really hoping to see some stats info in the HH Gaming Stages Tool.
I’m struggling with building a good team against the Odin dungeon. Level 16 is the best I’ve managed so far. Any recommendations for team composition against him?
im using geomancer an monkey king steelers and burners works a treat steel the buff immunity then burn it
You’ll definitely need someone to remove or block buffs, or at the very least, someone who can cut through block damage. I’m farming 20 with pythion, mithrala, michinaki, rotos and ukko.
