Champion Spotlight: Blind Seer

With it being Void x2 this weekend many of you have got your hands on some new Champions, and one that’s popped up a lot in the community this time around, including in HH’s recent shards was Blind Seer.

Blind Seer is a Void Legendary from the Dark Elves faction, for a long time she was considered one of, if not the worst void legendary in the game until she was buffed in September 2020, and she quickly shot up the ranks!

September 2020 Blind Seer Changes:

[Skill 2 – Dark Shroud]

– Order of actions changed: now places a [Block Debuffs] buff on all allies for 2 turns, and then places a [Shield] buff on all allies for equal to 30% of this Champion’s MAX HP for 2 turns.

– Cooldown decreased from 5 to 4 turns.

 [Skill 3 – Self Sacrifice]

– Effect removed: this Champion does not receive damage equal to 25% of her MAX HP anymore.

– Cooldown decreased from 7 to 6 turns.

Aura changed: now increases Ally DEF in all Battles by 34% (was in Dungeons by 42%).

These buffs for her revive and shield abilities made her incredibly viable in end-game content, especially in Faction Wars with her full team revive that also provides Block Damage, making 3 starring all levels incredibly easy.

Another place that Blind Seer shines is in Doom Tower, specifically against Borgoth, the Scarab King as her shield buff allows you to prevent the boss from counter-attacking – while also helping to reduce his turn meter, which also makes her excel in Fire Knight alongside her triple-hit A1 ability.

Alongside an incredibly strong kit, Blind Seer has VERY good base stats, with incredibly good defensive stats and amazing base speed!

Visions of Death
Attacks 3 times at random. Each hit has a 30% chance of decreasing the Turn Meter by 15%.
Level: 2 Damage +5%
Level: 3 Damage +10%
Level: 4 Buff/Debuff Chance +5%
Level: 5 Buff/Debuff Chance +5%

Dark Shroud – 4 Turn Cooldown
Places a Block Debuffs buff on all allies for 2 turns, then places a Shield buff on all allies for equal to 30% of this champion’s MAX HP for 2 turns.
Level: 2 Shield +5%
Level: 3 Shield +5%
Level: 4 Shield +5%
Level: 5 Cooldown -1

Self Sacrifice – 6 Turn Cooldown
Revives all dead allies to 35% HP. Places a Block Damage buff on all allies except this champion for 1 turn.

Level: 4 Heal +5%
Level: 5 Cooldown -1

(Aura)
Increases Ally DEF in all battles by 34%.

How to build Blind Seer:

When building Blind Seer, if she is used in PVE Content you will want her to be as fast as possible with strong defensive stats, you may decide to run accuracy in her build to allow her to control the enemy turn meter – however, depending on the content/team you’re using her in this may not be necessary.

While using Blind Seer in PVP you may prefer to focus more on the defensive stats, less on the Accuracy, and opt to push into more resistance to prevent her being debuffed – sets such as Stoneskin, Resist, Swift Parry and especially Reaction Accessories make her truly shine here. Unfortunately, she’s no Duchess Lilitu, but she will certainly help you out on Arena Defensive if you have limited options.
