Champion Spotlight: Elder Skarg
Elder Skarg is a Force affinity legendary from the Barbarians faction. Elder Skarg was buffed in September 2020 becoming one of the best Spider 20 killers in the game, he was actually available in a tournament as a reward for top place in local leaderboards at the time of his buff which was an awesome move from Plarium.
He is now able to place an AOE HP burn alongside True Fear on all enemies. This ability to damage and lockout the spiderlings simultaneously is one of the best ways to defeat one of the hardest dungeons in Raid.
You need to ensure that if you use him for this tactic, you either bring another Force affinity tank with lower HP than Elder Skarg or build Elder Skarg capable of taking damage.
Elder Skarg is also an excellent option for Sorath in the Doom Tower who needs an HP burn active to be killed!
Because of how Elder Skargs HP burn works, it will place it regardless of weak hits, providing you hit a target with enough buffs or debuffs, meaning it can work wonders against Hydra when facing heads under the Poison Cloud buff.

Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Places an extra hit for each buff or debuff on the target. Can place up to 3 extra hits. Places a [HP Burn] debuff for 2 turns and a [True Fear] debuff for 1 turn on all enemies if this attack places all 3 extra hits. Steals all the buffs from the target after the attack.

Places a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff for 2 turns on targets under [Shield] buffs. These debuffs cannot be resisted. Also places a [Provoke] debuff on Legendary Champions for 1 turn.

Receives 15% less damage from Legendary Champions. Inflicts damage equal to this champion’s ATK when attacked by Legendary Champions. The extra hit cannot be critical

How to build:
There are a couple of ways to build Elder Skarg, as not only is he a great debuffer, he its INSANELY hard in the right conditions, which can lead to him being a fantastic Clan Boss damage dealer.
General Debuffer:
If building Skarg to maximise his utility as a debuffer and not hugely investing into his damage, push your focus into Maintaining high defensive stats (HP/Def) while also having the required Speeds and Accuracy for the content you’re facing – Check Raid Stages Tool for more information on this.
You can either opt to run Eagle Eye or Giant Slayer as the T6 Mastery depending on what you need most.
Damage Dealer:
While building Skarg for Damage, it will mostly be used for Clan Boss, in which case you can opt to run with or without Accuracy, the HP burn can increase damage dealt and provide you with an all-important debuff to enable his damage further.
Outside of this, you’ll want the standard damage build stats (100% Critical Rate, Attack and Critical Damage) while running the Giant Slayer T6 Mastery.
This Champion can put out some SERIOUS damage.
My friend got elder start before any buffs and comps. But now he could use him. He has really good golds like Rotos and Bad el and my last gold that wasn’t guaranteed was war mama, and in my first 3 days I got baron. I got vergumkaar, Altan(thankfully) and some others.
