Champion Spotlight – Frozen Banshee

Ok Elsa, it’s time to move over, the real ice queen has arrived. Introducing Frozen Banshee.

Objectively one of the top poisoners in the game originally released with the advent of Battle Pass 1 (can we please have another Battle Pass? Please?) She has found herself filling up all the CB debuff bars with only a little help since she started. There’s a cool combination she has with another rare champion [Gravechill Killer]

We’re not just going to let it go there though. Amazing in a Counter-Attack or Ally Attack composition, she is solidly at home in clan boss, able to fill the debuff bar all by herself.

Abilities:

A1 – Death’s Caress [ATK]
Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit has an 80% chance of placing a 5% [Poison] debuff for 2 turns if the target is under a [Poison Sensitivity] debuff.
Level 2: Damage +5%
Level 3: Buff/Debuff Chance +5%
Level 4: Damage +5%
Level 5: Buff/Debuff Chance +5%
Level 6: Damage +10%
Level 7: Buff/Debuff Chance +10%

A2 – Cruel Exultation [ATK] (Cooldown: 4 turns)
Attacks 1 enemy. Fills the Turn Meters of all allies by 2% for each debuff on the target.
Level 2: Damage +5%
Level 3: Damage +10%
Level 4: Damage +10%
Level 5: Cooldown -1

A3 – Frost Blight [ATK] (Cooldown: 5 turns)
Attacks 1 enemy. Places a 25% [Poison Sensitivity] debuff for 2 turns.
Level 2: Damage +5%
Level 3: Damage +5%
Level 4: Damage +10%
Level 5: Cooldown -1
Level 6: Cooldown -1

Aura – Increases Ally ACC in all Battles by 35

[Poison Sensitivity] is a fantastic debuff, an extra 25% damage quickly makes up for having one less poison stack on any enemy especially for those battles that go a bit longer or take advantage of them having a high HP pool. The debuff landing is part of the attack so it won’t land on a weak hit, she’s not the best against force affinity for that reason.

Due to Frozen Banshee being rare, she is reasonably available making her a fantastic CB choice. For later difficulties, you’ll have to stack that defence for a standard composition. She’s also great for Dragon.

Though she does like to read a lot so let’s hope you have them available, it’s very much so needed on her A3.

Her Aura makes her viable all the way from a new player to endgame if you don’t mind her being the lead.

Wait, doesn’t her A2 throw out any chance of speed tuning her? Well, it very well could, if she ever used it. When on Auto, her default skill usage is A3 then A1 until the A3 becomes available again. Terrible AI helping us do the job!

Summary:

Overall? She is fantastic, has some utility outside of CB and can be a solid choice for a poisoner.
As for any champion, build them if you need them if they’ll help you up your game and progress the content.

Accuracy to land the debuffs
Speed so she will get a go
Defensive stats – HP & Def, keep her alive
Damage – The large portion of her damage is from her poisons so low priority on this.
