Sentinel is a force affinity rare Barbarian champion and is widely known as a trash champion, However, this is not the case and as we are quickly realizing most champions can be useful in some areas of the game and Sentinel is one of those champions.

Let’s have a look why

Sentinel has an AOE attack with a 70% chance to land Decrease Attack for 2 turns on his A2, and it has a cooldown of three turns when booked. This is very good for anywhere in the game if you are struggling to stay alive and his A1 of an 85% chance to place the Provoke debuff, if critical. It’s not a bad A1. His passive is not bad either keeping him alive a little longer.

However, against the Magma Dragon is where he shines. The A1 provoke stops the dragon from using any of his abilities and if he does the Decrease Attack will mean he will not hit you very hard.

If you have no other option Sentinel is the best choice for this role. Build him with plenty of speed, the required amounts of accuracy, 100% crit rate with high HP and Def to keep him alive. He will do the job for you.
