As some of you may have already seen through youtube videos, it has been announced today that the upcoming Christmas fusion will consist of all new champions.
This news will dishearten a lot of people in the community as we were under the impression that this new champion would be obtained through the “old” method of fusion events.
Many players in Raid: Shadow Legends make use of the ability to store champions that they are not using for their teams in their vault as they may come up in a fusion event, however, for every recent event, this has not been the case.
There are good and bad points for this event. One obvious benefit is that we will be welcoming 20 new champions into the game. This addition to the champion pool will, however, cause more issues with that amount of vault space players have access to.
We hope that in the future Plarium will extend the storage available, however, it is becoming more and more obvious that their method for combating the lack of space may end up being the lack of need to store and collect champions.
While we sincerely hope that this is not the case I am sure that plenty of people within the community are feeling let down by this announcement and hope that it will not impact the planned festivities.
On the brighter side of things in the game, we know that the Doom Tower will finally be launched in less than one week and we are waiting for news of the upcoming weekend summoning event.
With the announcement of this summoning event consisting of all new champions, this may impact your decision to pull shards or not during the upcoming 2x events.
As ever, stay posted on our website, social media and YouTube to find out the latest news from Raid: Shadow Legends!
