Crazy Tripple 2x Summoning Event This Weekend
This busy week of celebrations continues today in Raid: Shadow Legends with the announcement of a 2x summoning weekend for Sacred, Void and Ancient Shards!
Today Plarium announced in the content creator chat that the weekend events would run like this:
This Friday, we’re planning to launch a special Triple x2 event to summon Epic and Legendary Champions from Ancient, Void, and Sacred Shards.
The schedule is the following:
x2 Sacred Shards
05.03.2021 8:00 UTC – 06.03.2021 8:00 UTC
x2 Void Shards
06.03.2021 8:00 UTC – 07.03.2021 8:00 UTC
x2 Ancient Shards
07.03.2021 8:00 UTC – 08.03.2021 8:00 UTC
This is a good chance to pull some shards as these events provide the highest chance to pull a legendary in the game, however, there is a downside to pulling shards this weekend.
We know that in just over a week Plarium is launching a new Fragment Summon event for the St Patricks Day event. This event will require you to burn through resources so just keep that in mind when pulling this weekend.
At the same time though, it is a cool event and if you do decide to pull shards then make sure you let us know what champions you pull!

As a FTP player with not a lot of shards, will I sit this one out and wait for the bigger events coming later in March to April
kinda depends what they run alongside it i think but be aware there is a legendary fragment collector in 2 weeks. If you think you have a shot on that I would save
As I am F2P less than 60 days in, what would believe to be enough resources to try to take on the fragment event in a couple weeks. Also, love the site and have been a sub on YouTube for some time now!
Well, the last 2x was AMAZING to me. i got skullcrusher, ultimate galek, foli and more. now i have champions to beat every 20 dg that i didnt and NM cb (even UNM, after farming better equips) with my 136 days playing.
I’m thinking to keep frags for now…
My shard opening has been epic since 2x void . I pulled 2 Man-eaters, skullcrown,Inquisitor shamel, 2 Brakus and 2 ch, plus battlesage. Is luck over?
Nope not gonna be pulling this weekend, normally would do but want to save up my shards for the fusion event and give that a really good go, plus I’ve got loads of chips I need to max out so got plenty to keep me going lol
Hello, I am a noob (less than 60days on the game). Why do you need shards for the saint patrick’s event? We only need champs to make fusion, don’t we? For now I have only 3 sacred, 3 void and 4 ancients. I have planned to open them during this weekend. But I am not sure to fully understand what is best for my situation. Thank you in advance for your good advices :)
There will be shard summoning events where you need to hit a number of points to get the fragments for the summon
For players who have absolutely no hopes of completing the fusion, it might not be a bad idea to take advantage of the 2X event. If you are just starting and have no saved up resources (and let’s not forget how many resources those do require!!!), going for 2X on shards and hopefully getting some lucky pulls might not be a bad deal. Plus, we don’t even know if/how valuable the new champion will be.
I would hold of on the shards if you are hoping to get some new champs from the new faction though.
Hi, this has already been asked but still not sure on the answer. Does a new player to the game, and not a wale of a spender have a shot at getting enough points to get the St Patricks champ? For reference I have been playing for 20 days, I have 1 sacred shard, 6 void shards, 8 ancient shards and 86 mystery shards ( if that matters).
If its possible id like to save for st Patricks, however if there is a low chance I will be able to get him this summoning event may be a good time for me to pull.

@kswanndesign Think of it this way. Based on past events, you will need to get (from events or shards) 16 rare champs. You will need to max them out (energy) and also max out their stars (potions). Those you will need to fuse into 4 epics (silver) which you also need to max out (more energy) and max their stars (even more affinity potions and silver). Those 4 epics will allow you to fuse your event champion (more silver). Do you have resources to do that in 10 days or so?
You can get lucky and pull any of those champs from the shards, but the odds are usually low given the number of characters in the game. Although I do think that during those events they secretly skew towards those champs – almost always I pulled one or two of those rare champions from shards. But the event champions are usually pretty high up in the reward ladder for the events, so you usually need to get let’s say 3/4 of the way in most of them to have a shot. I have been playing the game long enough to get all the daily login rewards, and I was able to get up to 2 epics from those events so far. I think that you need to be able to beat all the dungeons on the 15+ level and have a solid “farming” champion that can pull 3 “naked” heroes with him through campaign stages to think about going for it.
Perhaps someone with more experience can correct me if this is a wrong assessment.
So I went ahead and used my shards. I had 3 Sacreds and 10 Voids. I did so because I didn’t think I would be able to get the St Patrick day champion as I am pretty much FTP (low spender). Also he wasn’t very impressive.
I got 2 Legos. 1 from Sacred (Royal Huntsman) and 1 from Void (Belanor). I pulled 2 decent Epics, a duplicate Fenax and Lich (?). I only had 1 Leggo before today, one of the worst in the game, Teela. I’m not very impressed…
I got a couple others that I think are decent, Draconis, Kurzad Deepheart (?), and Centurion (?)
From what I can tell, the 2 leggos I pulled are pretty good, at least Royal Huntsman is, still not sure about Belanor. Draconis is good and even Kurzad seems decent but Centurion is food…
I got another void shard today from the daily login reward and used it. I pulled a Hegemon ! So not too bad, 14 shards and I got 3 leggos…
On my main, I did a x10 roll but and got 4 epics, including Fodbor, old hermit, Atur and a dupe. I only have 5 blu shards left.
On my alt, I did a x10 roll and pulled bloodgorged and the last epic needed for the Rhazin fusion. I only have 3 blue shards left.
Overall my pulls were decent, but now I wonder if I would have enough for the St Patricks day fusion event.
