Double Legendary Rebalancing! Fortus & Angar!

Plarium has announced a double legendary rebalancing where Fortus and Angar will get some long-awaited love, these changes will be coming in the upcoming update, which we can expect very soon!

Now it’s worth noting, that Fortus has been VERY bugged since his release, over 6 months ago, and we have been eagerly awaiting these changes to finally see him put to work, atleast that’s what we were hoping for, but is that what we’ve got?

Angar has just unfortunately been power crept, as one of the early Void Legendaries in the game, he’s just not up to par with recent additions to the game and very underwhelming, so pulling him in his current state is a bit disheartening, so hopefully some love increases his value slightly…

Let’s check out what’s coming for these two unloved Void Legendaries in the nearest update…

Fortus

Damage increased.

Angar

Angar

[Infuriate]

Damage increased.
Attacks all enemies.
Places a [Provoke] debuff on them for 1 turn. Also has a 75% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff on them for 2 turns instead.

Then place a 30% [Reflect Damage] buff on all allies for 2 turns. Also places a [Counterattack] buff on this Champion for 2 turns.

[Bravado [P]]

If an enemy with a [Provoke] debuff attacks, has a 40% chance of replacing it with another [Provoke] debuff for 1 turn. Also has a 90% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff on them for 1 turn.

Each hit taken will reduce damage taken by 5% (up to 30% in one round).

[Aura]

Increases Ally HP in all Battles by 33%.

If this is love, i don’t want it.
Last time they increased the damage of Fortus’ A3, the ability’s total damage over time decreased as they shadow nerfed the scaling from the number of fear and true fear debuffs placed.
And Angar… what i expected was some Nergigante Archer thing… a guaranteed 2 turn provoke paired with something usefull. Hex, HP Burn, Block Buffs, Even a scaling with enemy max HP… something that gives him atleast a place in Hydra battles. And the passive Decrease Atk is useless against bosses as nor even the provokaple Hydra head is forced to attack the champion who placed the provoke. What we will get now is still not better than Skeuramis.
Void legendaries shouldn’t be worse than epics.
