Hellhades – HH Gaming Spotlight

Our team at HH Gaming has expanded so much over the last few years, and that’s a huge thank you to you, the community!

But with so many faces working both in the public eye and behind the scenes, we want to give you the opportunity to get a little closer to us personally and know exactly who is helping to produce the content you are taking in from our various creators’ YouTube Channels or the website!

In this spotlight, we’re going to be touching base with none other than Hellhades himself…

What do you do at HH Gaming? And How long have you been involved?

Build the brand, support on company direction and champion ratings. Since the start :)

Favourite Piece of Content You’ve Produced

Winning the Content Creator Clan boss challenge with just Epics!

First game you remember playing, and how it shaped your love for gaming

Harrier attack Amstrad 464 but I am sure plenty of games even before then. I love so many genres, the challenge, the puzzles, the competition.

When and How did you get into RAID?

I was a huge MMO / WOW fan. I started to work in London where I had to commute on the train in and out daily and I wanted to scratch an itch of WOW within a mobile game. I downloaded Raid and never looked back.

Favourite 3 Champions and why?

Septimus was insanely fun when I first pulled him, a crazy boss killer (content out scaled him)

I love the mechanics of Rotos, a real game changer when he was introduced and fun to build in different ways.

Little Miss Annie is my fav champ design.

Favourite Content Area in RAID?

Always loved the original Demon Lord Clan Boss for its simple entry level but high skill cap.

What do you do outside of gaming?

I used to play a lot of sports, Football mainly but also tennis, golf, badminton. Now my biggest other passions are going for lunch with the family (Sunday Carvery is my fav) and playing 8-ball pool competitively.

What job did you want as a child?

I think if I told myself my current job I would be more than happy as a child but I have a memory of thinking I would be a Bank Manager because I enjoyed maths :D

One thing you’ve always wanted to do (but haven’t done)

See the Egyptian Pyramids!

One thing you’ve DONE that you never imagined being able to do

Become a YouTuber, make a game, marry a beauty (we said 3 Simon, but I’ll allow it!)

What are you most proud of (but don’t get the chance to gloat about often)

Building a brand that has enabled so many people to have a career in gaming.

One piece of advice you’d give to aspiring content creators

Imagine yourself as the most energic version of yourself and start there for your on-screen persona.

Simon’s Special Question: Are we living in a simulation?

We are, potentially we are already the 10th iteration of human civilization playing out this simulation over and over again with no knowledge of it happening!
