How to play Raid: Shadow Legends on your PC or MAC
Raid Shadow Legends at its core is a mobile game and that is where it started. However, over the years it has grown into a computer game as well, many players now play the game on computers and Mobile, this is largely down to Plarium seeing the benefit of having its own gaming platform and the game being aesthetically very pleasing.
This Guide will help you understand how to play it on PC and Mac and what the benefits and Cons of the different platforms you can use.
Plarium Play
Uniquely, Plarium has its own Platform to play their games on which is exceedingly rare for a mobile gaming company. Plarium Play was launched on the 21st of January 2020 to the global audience, with Raid being the first game on the platform and it has been praised for its stability and ease of use. It also uses a pepper flash plugin that cannot be accessed by browsers or hackers so it’s completely safe to use. They have recently added two-factor authentication giving the user even more protection. I personally exclusively use Plarium Play partly for this reason. The main reason I use this platform is for the Raid Optimizer, which can only work on the Plarium Play. The Raid Optimizer is a must for any Raid player and is used by over thirty thousand players a month and that number is only growing. Most of the Plat-level arena players use it.
Emulators
However, many players opt not to use Plarium Play in favor of emulators like Bluestacks and LDPlayer, as they can create macros to autorun the battles without using the in-game multi-battle function as these are limited. Macros are a fantastic way to “overnight” farm in dungeons to try and get the best gear. You can also use these emulators to manipulate the frame rate of the game so you can speed up the leveling of gear. But, with the creation of other tools like RSL Helper and OMG Clicker, these are so much better at this than the emulators. The one thing that is special about the emulators is the ability to run multiple instances, this is where you can run clones of your mobile account and play multiple games at one time, this is particularly useful if you have two accounts for Raid. I use this to run my F2P account while I work on my main account.
The Biggest drawback for me on the emulators is the graphics and their stability. Unless you have the setting on max, which slows the overall use of your PC down, the graphics are nowhere near the quality of Plarium Play and the emulator is subject to crashing at random times.
Final thoughts
If you want great graphics and smooth gameplay, use the Plarium Play platform. If you don’t care about that and just want to grind away, the emulators are the best for that. However, as previously mentioned with the addition of “auto-clickers” like RSL Helper that have food farming and auto gear selling functions, I think there is no need to use the emulators unless you want to run another account in the background.
Raid: Shadow legends is a very time-consuming game, so use everything you can to make that just a little bit easier. What do you use? Are you like a lot of us and use Plarium Play, Auto-clickers, and an Emulator? Let us know down in the comments section. We love hearing from you!
Unfortunately, i am still a mobile user. So no RSL helper or the HH optimiser to fine-tune my game ☹️☹️
