Huge Summon Weekend – 2x Ancients – 10x Kymar?!
Here we have it! Plarium has just dropped the news for this weekend’s 2x Ancient Shard Event, but that’s not all guys…
Plarium has thrown in a juicy 10x to go alongside the Ancient Event and it’s one to not miss out on.
Outside of a guaranteed legendary event, this is your best chance to get a legendary from ancient shards, let alone this INCREDIBLY saught after Legendary Champion who is none other than… Prince Kymar!
This Friday, February 4th, we’re planning to launch two events simultaneously.
(1) We’re planning to launch a x2 event to summon Epic and Legendary Champions from Ancient Shards
(2) And also, we’re planning to launch a x10 event to summon Prince Kymar from Ancient Shards
Anyone going for this, just for the Kymar, be aware;
Total Legendaries in Game = 155
Chance to Pull Legendary = P(a) = 1% or 1/100
Chance to Pull a Kymar in 10x Event = P(b) = 1/15.5
Probability of Pulling a Kymar in this Event
P=P(a)xP(b)
P=(1/100)x(1/15.5)
P=0.065% Chance, or 1 in 1,550 shards.
Just for clarity though, your chance to pull Kymar out of the event is 1 in 15,500 shards
Just for LOLS, the chance to grab him out of ALL events (no 2x no 10x, just a random day with nothing on) is a whopping 1 in 31,000 chance! xD
So, is it 1 in 1,550 or 1 in 15,500? Those odds are a little bit different )

It is 1 in 1550 shard chance during the 2x Event, with an additional 10x chance for Kymar. Though as someone has pointed out I have added ALL champs in, which will include those that are not available in shard pulls, so the odds will be slightly more so in your favour :D
Weeeeel, out of roughly 550 shards I got:
4th Ghostborn, 3rd Bad-El, 2nd Tatura, 2nd Drokgul, 2nd Septimus, Basileus, Warchief, Gliseah and Pyxniel. So, technically the rates are really good, but the legos are really bad (or downright trash).
No Kaymer, yeah.
What are the odds of getting 2 Kymars in a single 10x pull? :p

Does the 155 include the champions that are not available in Ancient shards? if so then you would need to reduce the 155 a little, but the odds are still steep. They need to make 10x events, more like 25X
Yes it does, that is a great point and I didn’t even think about that… Just did a base count of all legendaries listed on this site. I am officially not sure on how many are available through shard pulls haha

I know this chance event I’ve one account level 57 and I haven’t any legendary champ over there. The probability is so low and when you watch some 60/70/80/90/100 level rewards – it’s a shame :(
Hehe, guess I better buy lotto tickets this weekend. I had 63 ancient shards. Pulled 30 of them. Got Kymar and Ghostborn for legos. Got Mis Mon, who I did not have. Then I got 5 more dup epics. Pretty nice. Makes me wonder what the last 33 shards have in them….probably nothing….LOL
I had 62 and got 4 leggos, kymar, gamuran, kreela and rotos. No one is useful for me in progression. lol.
Well, I dropped 125 gems and got 0 legos, so the probability of getting PK, effectively 0! :-(
