Hurndig Fusion Guide

Hurndig Fusion Guide

Today, the next tale in our Fusion saga continues, with yet another Fusion in a very short period of time, Hurndig will be a great addition to many accounts as he brings a lot of incredibly vital debuffs as well as strong AOE and Single Target Damage.

Faction: Dwarves
Rarity: Legendary
Type: Attack
Affinity: Magic

Lethal Lust

Attacks 1 enemy, Grants an Extra Turn and decreases the cooldown of the [Stasis Strike] skill by 2 turns if this attack kills an enemy.

Arcane Tempest – Cooldown: 4 Turns

Attacks all enemies. Has a 75% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff and a 50% [Decrease ACC] debuff for 2 turns.

Stasis Strike – Cooldown: 6 Turns

Attacks 1 enemy. Fully depletes the target’s Turn Meter.
Will also attack all enemies if the first attack is critical. This AoE attack has a 75% chance of placing a 25% [Weaken] debuff for 2 turns. Will also place a [HP Burn] debuff for 2 turns after the attack on the enemies whose Turn Meters are below 30%.

Passive: Staid
Fills this Champion’s Turn Meter by 10% every time they are hit. Occurs once per hit.
Also fills this Champion’s Turn Meter by 20% whenever an ally dies

Increases Ally ATK in Arena Battles by 35%

Hurndig is a traditional Fusion event where you will need to collect 4 epics in order to fuse him:

Hoforees the Tusked – Force Affinity – Skinwalker
Skathix – Void Affinity – Lizardmen
Gory – Spirit Affinity – Shadowkin
Siegehulk – Magic Affinity – Ogryn Tribes
You will need to collect 4 rares to fuse each of these epics, they are the same for every epic and are as follows:

Hellborn Sprite – Spirit Affinity – Demonspawn
Odachi – Force Affinity – Shadowkin
Assassin – Magic Affinity – Shadowkin
Mycolus – Void Affinity – Ogryn Tribes

As always we will keep you updated every step of the way through the events, providing you with daily updates.

As this is a traditional Fusion, you will be required to level champions and ascend them, we will update this list as soon as we know more information on the champions (likely when the event goes live!)

Is Hurndig worth going for?

In essence, yes – Hurndig is a great champion who will provide a lot of utility to most accounts, and brings things to the Dwarves Faction that are in very high demand. However, one thing worth noting is that the epics in this fusion are incredible, most notably – Hoforees the Tusked. This champion is one of the few revivers in the Skinwalker faction which is widely considered one of, if not the hardest faction to complete currently in Faction Wars.

So before pushing for the fusion you should evaluate whether the gain of Hurndig will outweigh the benefits of these four epics for your own account.

What will be required for Hurndig’s Fusion?

Magic: 40 Lesser – 36 Greater – 6 Superior
Force: 40 Lesser – 36 Greater – 6 Superior
Spirit: 40 Lesser – 36 Greater – 6 superior
Void: 40 Lesser – 36 Greater – 6 Superior
Arcane: 80 Lesser – 108 Greater – 12 Superior

48 x 3 star chickens
16 x 4 star chickens

Classic Arena Takedown – Hellborn Sprite

Day 1:

New Events:
Dungeon Divers Event 1: 1300 points – Odachi
Dragon Tournament: 1800 points – Hellborn Sprite

For todays events, all energy should be focussed into the dragon to double dip your rewards, as this will also put a nice chunk into your points for Dungeon divers.

To get Hellborn Sprite from Dragon, it will require 1800 points, which is a maximum of 113 runs of Dragon 20+ based on the lowest possible drop. This could take significantly less, but will be around 1800 energy in Dragon 20.

Day 2:

New Events:
Artifact Enhancement Event – 2000 points – Assassin

To reach the points to get Assassin, it’s time to burn that silver!

Artifact Enhancement

To complete the event with 2,000 points it will take 6x 6* items to level 16 or 26x 6* items from 1-12, which will take a large amount of silver, usually, an event like this will consume anywhere between 10-20 million silver.
This is a really good opportunity to do a good old gear clear-out, roll things that you might want to keep up to see how the stats play out, sell things that you won’t want to keep.

Day 4:

New Events:
Champion Training Event: 2650/5075/10650 points – Hellborn Sprite/Mycolus/Hoforees
Fire Knight Tournament: 1375 points – Odachi

Champion Training Event is a large point requirement but we do have 5 days to complete this! Make sure you’re focusing all your energy on the campaign when you can!
Of course, you only need to push to 10,650 points IF you want a dupe of Hoforees, otherwise, you can go to 5075 points, which will be significantly easier.
Make sure you are also leveling your chickens BEFORE feeding them to get the extra points, you can do this easily by just throwing a few brews into the 4*/5* chickens before you use them as food, it will really help you gain your points to make this doable.

To complete the Fire Knight Tournament, at stage 20 it will take roughly 1800  energy (113 runs)
This should be more than doable for anyone who can farm a relatively decent Fire Knight level.

Day 5:

New Events:
Champion Chase Tournament: 1150 points – Mycolus
Classic Arena Takedown: 270 points – Odachi

For the champion chase, you will need to pull as many shards as you need, Since this event is only a single rare towards the fusion, and the point requirement is low, it shouldn’t take too much at all.

You can also do this with mystery shards for 1 point per shard, if you don’t have other shards to use during the event, but remember – champions from the market and campaign will also count towards these points, which can tie in nicely with Champion Training.

This does line up with a Sacred Shard 2x Event, so good luck on your pulls if you have saved any!

For Arena, as always use all of your daily refills, this should not take a substantial amount of effort given the current situation in Classic arena, with the return of the infamous bots. So make the most of it, farm your great hall medals, and get yourself another rare towards the fusion!

Day 7:

New Events:
Dungeon Divers Event – 1825/2500 points – Assassin / Hellborn Sprite

Dungeon Divers event, nicely lining up with both Fire Knights Tournament AND Champion training initially, and after tomorrow Ice Golem will also line up with it!
Take today to clean up any missing points you have from other events, then get ready to blast everybody’s favorite dungeon tomorrow.
This will allow you to get simultaneous points while either farming Fire Knight/Ice Golem or food in the campaign for your Champion Training!

Day 8:

New Events:
Ice Golem Tournament – 1375 points – Assassin

To get this done, we’ll have to dive into our favorite dungeon, Ice Golem, and run it on average of 86 times on stage 20, which will cost around 1375 energy to achieve our next rare.

While doing this, we’ll be killing 2 birds with 1 stone as we progress through Dungeon Divers as well. So Buckle up, and enjoy some quality time with the Ice golem!

Day 10:

New Events:
Artifact Enhancement Event – 2625 points – Mycolus
Champion Training Tournament – 3735 points – Odachi

Artifact Event Tips:
For the Artifact Enhancement event, 2,625 points are the equivalent of leveling just under 8x 6* items up to 16, which is quite costly unless you have them waiting at 15!
Artifact Enhancement

This is also a great opportunity to do a good clear out of the items you picked up from the dungeon tournaments during this fusion, as well as anything else you’ve grabbed along the way, roll it up to 8/12 where necessary and bank yourself some extra points while you’re gaining silver from cleansing!

Champion Training Tips:
The champion training tournament is very similar to a champion training event in terms of how to earn points, but the key difference is you can gain points for ascending your champions, a great way to stockpile points is by ascending the first few ranks on lots of champions, this will help make up your points, 3725 points should be fairly easy for most in the time frame for the event.

If you’ve not already done so, I suggest preparing the food required for all of your fusion components during this time, or in fact leveling the epics/rares you’ve picked up so far as that will get you most of the way if not all of the way to completing the required points to get Mycolus.

Day 11:

New Events:
Spider Tournement – 1800 points – Mycolus

Spider Tournement Tips:
To complete the Spider Tournament, at stage 20 it will take roughly 1680 energy (105 runs)
This should be more than doable for anyone who can farm a relatively decent Spider level.
These figures are based on the worst possible artifact drops from stage 20, it may be significantly less runs for you to get Mycolus.

Day 12:

New Events:
Classic Arena Takedown – 270 points – Hellborn Sprite
Summon Rush – 1070/3000 point – Assassin/Skathix

For today’s summon rush, there is a great x10 summons event! You will have to pop your shards to get these fragments, 3000 points is the equivalent of 6 sacred shards, but don’t forget – mystery shards also count towards these points so don’t be afraid to burn through them!!

This also lines up with a guaranteed legendary event for Helior, if you pull 15 sacred shards.

Of course the point requirement is significantly lower if you just go for the rare here, at 1070.

For arena, you will need 270 points, which is very achievable especially with the “bots” currently populating our arena pages! Keep an eye on your points, and just farm away with your free daily refills and you should get there in no time!

Am I missing something, or did Plarium actually add an extra chance to get most wanted Hippo and Skathix twice – as fusion and directly as rewards from Tournaments? This actually makes the whale-puzzle easier – you can get your hands on Hippo AND also fuse Hurndig.
Or just simply git your hippo and forget the Dwarf :D

    • TaoMoragi June 7, 2021 at 5:32 pm

Was thinking the same, i can get the hippo and the void champ and also the legendary if i go all out and dont skip? That would be super nice. Also this time i can finally go for it since the arena-matchmaking is kinda awesome right now.

    • Moserilla June 7, 2021 at 9:20 pm

This is how they typically do the fusions. In the past the extra epics were tied to the summoning events (aka more shards/more money for them) so I would usually get those epics and do half the events to get the lego. This time I might do it all, haha. Def need the hippo. And the lizard can’t hurt. But I 100% want the dwarf.

  2. KiNG RaSTa June 7, 2021 at 8:36 pm

Glad Ill be able to get the hippo dude and the lego this fusion. Glad Plarium was thinking on this one.

  3. XxDanTheMan86xX June 8, 2021 at 12:22 am

I think the numbers you listed for the four affinity potions are off. To ascend a single rare champ to 4* requires 10 lesser affinity potions and 4 greater affinity potions, so to ascend four of each rare champ required to fuse all of the epics, you would need a total of 40 lesser potions and 16 greater potions (per affinity).

Thus, the totals for the whole event would be:
    Magic: 40 Lesser – 36 Greater – 6 Superior
    Force: 40 Lesser – 36 Greater – 6 Superior
    Spirit: 40 Lesser – 36 Greater – 6 superior
    Void: 40 Lesser – 36 Greater – 6 Superior
    Arcane: 80 Lesser – 108 Greater – 12 Superior

(Of course, if you get Hoforees and Skathix from the events and choose not to fuse copies of them, you could remove 20 lesser and 8 greater potions from each affinity. I’m just thinking in terms of worst-case scenario having to fuse all four epic champs.)

    • Neva June 8, 2021 at 9:18 am

Sorry I’ll change that now! You’re right, not sure how my brain came up with this!

  4. TheFamilyCat June 8, 2021 at 2:41 pm

    Nice list!

  5. scrim77 June 10, 2021 at 12:34 am

yeah def chasing that extra chance for the reviver

he looks really handy where trying to keep reinbeast alive to secure 3 stars can get sketchy in higher level FW stages

  6. WileyMan June 10, 2021 at 8:22 pm

I am not sure where you came up with the numbers on the FK Tourney. The average Tourney Point return on a L20 Dungeon is about 18 (17.81 if you use the numbers from the vid that HH made a couple of weeks ago on Dungeon Returns for L20 v L24 v L25). Getting to 1375 pts in the FK Tourney should take approximately 77 runs, which would take 1232 energy. Throw in a +/- 5% to account for RNG and that comes to 1170 – 1294 energy to get Odachi. “Finishing” the Tourney to the Epic Book would take 2750 pts or about 153 runs, which would require 2448 energy +/- 5% (2326 – 2570).

  7. Rulolf June 11, 2021 at 8:21 am

literally first sacred i pull today is hurndig! guess will be keeping all the epics then…

    • WileyMan June 11, 2021 at 5:17 pm

    • JareelSkaj June 13, 2021 at 10:17 am

Wow, congrats! Great luck! If it was ever to happen to you – that’s the BEST fusion to own both: epics and leggo from!

  8. tugwos June 11, 2021 at 4:19 pm

Typical of them. Line the 2x sacred event up with the easy champion chase tournament where you don’t need to use sacreds instead of with the hard summoning event where you will. Instead of making your players happy they got use a 2x sacred when they needed it, make sure that they will feel they missed out no matter when they use it. I like the game, I like the model, but sometimes I’m just amazed at how clueless they seem to be.

  9. WileyMan June 11, 2021 at 5:16 pm

@tugwos: not clueless. having the 2X with the Champ Chase is intentional. In 18 months of playing this game, the 2X has only been lined up with the Summon Rush for a Fusion/Fragment Lego one time. Maxing out the rewards on the Summon Rush is a luxury reserved for whales and late game players.

  10. Strubelion June 11, 2021 at 10:35 pm

Is it enough to get the rares and worry about the ascension and fusion later or does the event expire and you have to level up and ascend everything during a certain period of time?

    • lenk June 12, 2021 at 11:20 am

This type of fusion is time based. You need to lvl up and ascend during the event.

    • Nicolas June 12, 2021 at 12:17 pm

Once the timer on Hurding expires, you can no longer fuse any of them. So keep that in mind.

    • Moserilla June 15, 2021 at 6:46 pm

I’m pretty sure you’ll have several days once the events are over to finish up leveling, ascending and fusing.

      • Absoloote June 16, 2021 at 8:05 am

        • Venjur June 20, 2021 at 7:31 am

Sure about that? All the events end in about 24/25 hours-ish, the boosted summon event ends in the same time window, yet the Hurndig fusion still has over 3.5 days left on it….

  11. Rulolf June 14, 2021 at 11:13 pm

I like this champ, played him in quite a few places, the extra turn mechanic and the quick cycle to dec def is really useful. And hits pretty hard, even with no books and not one level of ascension. But deffo a great generalist rather than someone with really targeted use. Dungeons and DT

  12. Meredillan June 16, 2021 at 1:58 pm

New player here (90 days) and I was wondering if I will still be able to fuse Hoforees from the event if I finish Hurndig prematurely. He looks really sexy to me, and it’s hard to keep from pushing that fuse button!

    • CreemaWeet June 16, 2021 at 11:31 pm

No you will not… I learned the hard way. Once you fuse Hurndig, its not possible to fuse the hippo (or lizard) after.

  13. CreemaWeet June 16, 2021 at 10:21 pm

PSA – if you got the free hippo from the event and want to keep him and do the fusion, don’t use it to fuse Hurndig. The fusion disappears meaning i can’t get my second hippo now.
That’ll teach me for rushing to the finish line :|

  14. Cragun June 17, 2021 at 1:42 pm

Did I miss something? Why does HellHades end with Day 11 Spider Tournament … what about the Summon Rush for Assassin/Sathix and Classic Arena 2 for Hellborn?

    • Cortavius June 18, 2021 at 5:24 am

They add a day each time new events come out so tomorrow (later today) they will post for classic arena and summon rush and likely the last post on this fusion.

  15. Rulolf June 18, 2021 at 6:31 am

so the two legos i pulled last week were hurndig and helior. maybe go for double hurndig and wait for the dupe system then make a super hurndig?! pretty sure i don’t need two heliors…

  16. Venjur June 20, 2021 at 7:35 am

Sucks we can only fuse the epics 1 time each, I wanted a spare Siegehulk, and no spares are available as a reward, so only way to get another is to shard pull :/

  17. Slenzo June 21, 2021 at 9:19 pm

What should I do with the extra Hellborn Sprites, Assassins and Odachi if I cannot fuse them in time? Will this fusion come around again or are they food?

    • Saphyrra June 22, 2021 at 10:15 am

Most likely food at this point depending on where you are in your game progression. It is likely all future fusions will include new rares but this is not guarenteed
