Limited time event – Silver Cost Reduction
Silver for the longest time has been the biggest bottleneck in Raid, it’s so expensive to upgrade gear, and even to move gear around – everything we do in the game costs a ton of silver, and unless you’re constantly farming Spider, you’ll always find yourself running out of silver!
But Plarium occasionally release events such as this one!
Gear Removal Cost reduction
Time to gear up your Champions!
For a limited time, from 11:00 UTC, Tuesday, October 25, until 11:00 UTC, Thursday, October 27, we’re reducing the amount of Silver it takes to remove or swap Artifacts and Accessories by 50%.
If you currently have Recall Quests active, you can double up with two Gear Removal Cost reductions at the same time! Just head to the Recall Quests interface and activate the Gear Removal Cost boost.
Please note that Gear Removal Cost reductions are multiplicative, not additive, when you have more than one active at the same time.
For example:
– Removing your favorite Artifact costs 100,000 Silver.
– With a 50% Gear Removal Cost reduction, it will cost 50,000 Silver.
– With a 50% Gear Removal Cost reduction from Recall Quests on top of that, it will cost 25,000 Silver (by reducing the already-reduced cost of 50,000).
To see which boosts are currently in effect, tap the labels in the info panel found towards the upper-left corner of your screen in the Bastion, below your XP Bar.
This is a great chance to fine-tune your teams and test out some new gear combos. Enjoy!

This is a huge opportunity for many players to take the time to enhance their Champion builds, many of us are stuck in the situation where we want to rework some of our champions but the cost of swapping all of their gear around is just SO expensive. While this isn’t a permanent fix, it’s a really nice window to adjust things and make some progress on our Champion Builds.
Why doesn’t Plarium simply remove cost for changing gears? Personally 50k/100k don’t change my life, nor now nor 4/5 months ago when i started. It’s just an annoying feature and something that pisses off new players.
Because in that case evryone could just swap a champions role daily. There’d be no need for building dupes for different areas, and the game would overall be worse and way easier.
This is not true and it’s totally an excuse because if i want to do the same thing i can pay 600k and don’t have the necessity to have dupes, I have tons of millions, TONS. As I said before, it’s a totally useless and annoying feature, nothing more.
Do that then. If you have lot’s of silver you can waste a bunch each day. If you have much silver, then why are you complaining. There’s a reason for it. Do you believe you’re a better game designer than those who work at Plarium?
It’s my business when and what gear i want to change on my champions. I’m complaining about this useless feature not about the fact i can/can’t change my gear because lack of silver. And yes, i think there are feature very poor designed and i can do better, you too can do better for sure. The reason behind charging player for changing gears is because plarium is too greedy and want people to spend more and more and more but at the end is only an annoying thing, no one buys silver for changing gear.
Yeah. If you want to change gear, then fucking do it. If you want to regear someone then the vast majority of your silver will go to rolling the gear up, not taking gear off.
Agree, if you have millions of silver, that doesn’t stop you from changing gear every hydra/doom tower rotations around. So that bashes only F2P/low spenders and new players.
Being F2P doesn’t change the amount of silver you get significantly. Do you know what does? Being able to speedfarm Spider and having a progressed account. I recently built a speedfarming Spider team as a ftp player and it gives me lots of silver. Overall you shouldn’t need to cange gear a lot, and if you’re regearing a champ for some new content gear removal is the least of your expenses. I believe it’s a good mechanic with reasons to be in the game.

Plarium are not very greedy. The one greedy thing they’ve done this whole year is soulstones.
