New Easter Fusion! Gaius the Gleeful
We’ve got some exciting news to share with you today about the upcoming Easter Fusion, Gaius the Gleeful.
On Tuesday, April 19th, we’re planning to launch a Champion Fragment event with a new Champion – Gaius the Gleeful.
Faction – Knights Revenant
Rarity – Legendary
Type – Attack
Affinity – Magic
Gaius the Gleeful‘s kit is the quintessence of chaos and explosions.
The A1 gives Gaius an Extra turn when killing an enemy, which is an extremely useful skill on Arena and when dealing with PvE content as well.
With A2, he places Bombs on all the enemies and puts them to Sleep. Even considering the current Stone Skin meta, you’ll have no problem getting through that buff. And if the opponent has no Stone Skin on them, you’ll be able to detonate the Bombs even faster, thanks to Sleep. This skill will come in handy when clearing PvE waves.
Using his A3, Gaius can deal quite a damage by detonating all the Bombs on the target and ignoring the Unkillable. This is a counter mechanics to Swift Parry Artifact set and the Champions with Unkillable in their skill set.
Gaius the Gleeful’s Passive skill is kind of a trickster move with placing Bombs on the attacker and instantly detonating all the Bombs whenever Gaius is killed.

He seems decent for arena and maybe decent for Hydra? I’m probably gonna skip him, burnt out part of my rescourses on Nari, didn’t get him, and is hoping for a great fusion soon.
this fusion is probably gonna be a great one for a while. I got Nari and am hoping to get this guy too as he’s a fragment not an old school

A new player (32 days in) spent some resources on nari and didn’t get him and still gonna go for this fusion KEK. Btw fusion calendar when?
Really!? Already? The other one just ended! Haven’t come close to recovering enough resources yet!
Looking at the sleep and bombs I am really not that impressed. I see a strategy with high accuracy that you can use him as a sacrifice to nuke a team maybe, but would the damage be enough? and sleep gets removed the moment they are hit so using that would be silly unless he went last… idk any thoughts?
I think sleep is certainly the weakest of the CC options, but it can certainly work if you had someone like Draco who simply places debuffs instead of hitting. This would prevent you from being cut in on.
As a newer player (3 months) I am going for this fusion.
1) I believe I have saved the resources to do so.
2) It will be a need legendary on a new account.
3) The fusion events general comes with a lot of rewards that arn’t just the champion. Ores, books, gems, chickens. I can save these for another event later on.

Adding to my original. I will get this character. I also got a Yumeko and Alure. Many books and chickens. Upgraded 3 champs to 6*. I think fusion events hold a lot more value then just getting a character.
