Plarium has announced the first Fragment Event of 2023, and it’s one you do NOT want to miss! Let’s check out what Pythion brings!

The Fusion will begin on Thursday, January 12th and is a FRAGMENT COLLECTOR event, meaning we will not need to gather lots of Rare and Epic Champions, level, ascend and rank them up as necessary.

Plarium’s views on Pythion

Pythion is a versatile champion that can excel in both PvE and PvP content thanks to his diverse skill set. His A1 attack hits an enemy twice and also heals the most wounded ally after each hit. The A2 ability removes debuffs from all allies and also heals them, providing an extra boost of healing for each debuff removed. He also shields allies by applying the Block Debuffs effect for 2 turns. Pythion’s A3 ability revives all dead allies and strengthens all allies. His passive skill helps his allies take less damage from skills for each buff they have, and his Aura increases ally RES by 60 in all battles.

Mini Duchess? I feel like a lot of the legendary fusions have been Force and Spirit lately. Where’s the Magic?

For me and many clan mates, magic champs have been more plentiful than spirit or force. Even all the starter champs are magic. I’ve been happy to see more force and spirit champs as frag/fusions, I definitely need them more than magic.

About half of my non void 60’s are spirit, a third are Magic and I have 3 force champions at 60. I need more force!

where’s the good Magic Fusion/Fragment champ is a better question, there has been a few magic champs this year.
but Morrigaine was the only great one.
Epic fusion – Nogorya (average)
Gaius, Opardin earlier in the year also but both of those are only good at best (not the same level as Ukko, Helicath, Dreng or Bivald)

Morrigaine was great for people who don’t have Lyssandra.

Gaius wasn’t great but was very good, I use him in Tag Arena and he is the reason I beat FW21 for Knight Revenant.

Opardin is a waste,

For people who don’t have Lyssandra? High Khatun exists. And Deacon. And Arbiter when you do the missions. Speed leads are not hard to find.

Welp, I guess my case was very particular, since I was on month 5 to 6 of my account when Morrigaine came out, So still no Arbiter. And I didn´t have Deac (he came right now on Dec 31st), so Morrigaine was a godsend for people like me. Speed leads are not hard to find, but they aren´t THAT easy either. Besides morrigaine putting Heal Red. just by existing (putting her at least in the Poison Spider Doom Tower Room) and she having the chance to steal those pesky unkillable buffs (for those stupid 1-man paragon defenses in Arena) makes her 100 times more flexible than High Khatun.

I guess I’m also a particular case since I solved Paragon cheese with a super-high accuracy Uugo and Nether spider with two Doompriests and a mausoleum Mage. I’m glad she worked out well for you. I passed on her and I’m glad i did because it gave me the ability to fuse the rat.

New member here, where do I find the event guide and/or the calendar I saw in the youtube?

Those views will come out closer to the event once Raid drops the specific calendar of events. The HH team will usually have page dedicated to the event to follow up with and bookmark as needed.

It’ll probably be posted when Payrium drops it.

Magic affinity had it’s day in the sun. Underpriest and Hurndig were two bangers that came out pretty close to each other. Personally i am glad for some force and spirit beasts as my own account needed these the most. Of course this varies per account.

There were very good Magic fusions:
Foli
Rotos who’s still top
Astralon
Kreela

Do we know is Duchess’s passive will stack with Pythion’s?

Meh, Ill get him b/c my lizardmen FW team sucks, but I dont see using him elsewhere. Also, his revive has a separate buff, so he’s going to use that all the time and not have a revive up (like Arbiter), which totally ruins him for that role.

I’m not sure how they got this information already (so take this with a grain of salt I guess), but on Pythion’s champion page they say that he won’t do his A3 unless there is a dead ally.

The revive is only part of his kit. He combines that Strengthen with a passive that can be a big Strengthen on its own with enough team buffs. That’s up to a full 50% off all damage that comes at each champion wiped away. For a damage mitigation build, like for those who don’t have Demytha/Helcat/Roshcard, he’s obscenely good. Add in a full cleanse and 2-turn Block Debuffs buff that can be booked down to a 3-turn cooldown? He’s the ultimate support champ in my book.

I have no idea where you have come to the conclusion that he won’t be useful outside of faction wars. This is a void legendary level kit. Combining one of the best parts of Duchess’ kit (damage mitigation and revive) and cardiel/riho/elva (cleanse, heal and block debuffs). Top this off with a solid A1 heal and resistance aura this guy is incredible for early, mid and end game. I am in gold 2 TTA and high gold 5 and he will definitely take a very important place in my account.

The A3 won’t likely place strengthen if allies aren’t dead, as they ususally specifically state if the buff will be placed without dead allies.

Seems slightly overrated, but still an amazing champion. The A2 is, quite frankly, probably my favorite cleanse in the game, and the revive combined with the passive seems like a sweet healer/damage midigator. Gonna make my Lizards easy, and be massive in NS (you know they’d launch maintinence multiple times wile I was trying to Paragon cheese it) as well as most other DT bosses. Must get, but maybe not 5/5 with the extremely few champions you’ve given that rating.

I don’t know how none of you mention his potential for Hydra. He looks like the ultimate support for it. I am hyped for it
