New Fusion: Thursday 5th August: Mother Cybele!
Hey folks! On Thursday, August 5th, we’re planning to launch a Fusion event of a new Champion:
Mother Cybele.
Faction – Knights Revenant
Rarity – Legendary
Type – Support
Affinity – Force
While Mother Cybele brings some utility, she honestly seems very underwhelming at first look to us, and potentially hard to find a place in any team, of course, depending on the progression of your account.
Skills:
A1 – Mask of Dread
Attacks all enemies. Has a 25% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff for 2 turns.
Also fills this Champion’s Turn Meter by 15%.
A2 – Soul Shepherd CD – 6
Places a [Revive On Death] buff and a 60% [Increase DEF] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
A3 – Uncanny Transfer CD – 6
Swaps HP with an ally.
If this Champion’s HP is equal to or higher than the target’s after the swap, fills this Champion’s
Turn Meter by 40%, places a 30% [Increase SPD] buff on this Champion for 2 turns, and
places a [Block Damage] buff on the target ally for 1 turn. If this Champion’s HP is lower than
the target’s after the swap, fills the target’s Turn Meter by 40%, places a 30% [Increase SPD]
buff on them for 2 turns, and places a [Block Damage] buff on this Champion for 1 turn. Also
places two 15% [Continuous Heal] buffs on this Champion for 2 turns.
A4 – Gravewalker [P]
Fully heals the ally with the lowest HP whenever this Champion is killed.
Heals all allies by 20% of their MAX HP and fills their Turn Meters by 15% whenever this
Champion is revived.
Aura:
Increases Ally Speed by 24% in ALL Battles
hopefully the epics will be better. If she were a fragment I would do it and keep her ready for summon tourneys but as is I will look at the epics.
Same. Very confusing kit, plus the 6 turn CDs. Not sure what were Plarium thinking!
I will get her even though she is underwhelming. I recall pulling Visix a few months ago and she went straight to the vault. Then she got buffed and she is broken good. Maybe that happens to this one someday.
I must say, the one thing that does seem quite great regarding her, is her Aura, 24% Speed increase in all battles, other than that, MEH.
Some people thought Versulf was meh and then he turned out to be a really strong nuker. Assuming you aren’t a whale or aren’t super-end game, Versulf/Cybele should form a decent pair in faction wars. I mean, if the epics are amazing or one has AOE HP burn, I might skip, but her A1 with a stun set and a strategic use of her A2 and A3 with legendary stats should work great with Versulf and then you just slot in whatever other good champs you have. If you’ve got MM and the sisters already, you probably won’t care. For my account though, I think she’ll be a very strong addition and won’t take much investment. Fusions take a lot of time but a decent chunk of the things you would do anyway, they just compress the time frame and make it unpleasant.
