New Raid Champion: Authoratrix Lamasu

A new Raid Champion, Authoratrix Lamasu, is arriving as one of the rewards for the upcoming Clan vs Clan Siege game mode!

A Legendary Void Champion, Authoratrix Lamasu looks to have a pretty potent kit, able to place a swathe of Debuffs while being completely immune to the dreaded [Polymorph].

Given she is a reward Champion for the new Siege mode, we expect Lamasu will be a Champion that anyone can add to their roster – although it may take some time to earn her.

Authoratrix Lamasu has a few interesting features in her kit. First off, her A2 Skill changes one of the Debuffs it can place when she’s fighting a Boss. Secondly, her Passive makes her immune to the effects of [Polymorph], suggesting she’s been designed to perform well in both PvE and PvP.

• Authoratrix Lamasu’s A1 Skill can place a 50% [Decrease ATK] Debuff on all enemies for two turns. Fully upgraded, this Skill has a 70% chance to land the Debuff.
• Her A2 can place both [Block Buffs] and [True Fear] on all enemies for two turns. If the target is a Boss, then the Skill can place [Block Buffs] and [Decrease SPD] instead.
• The A3 offers a full Debuff cleanse and Skill reset for a single ally while placing them under [Intercept] and boosting their Turn Meter by 50%.
• Authoratrix Lamasu’s Passive makes her immune to the [Sheep] Debuff while reducing enemy ACC, RES, and Turn Meters by 5% for every Debuff Lamasu places on them.

We’ve put together our initial thoughts and ratings on Authoratrix Lamasu (you can find our first impressions below), but will likley update these as we learn more about her once she’s in-game.

Authoratrix Lamasu has Skills that, at face value, make her a solid Champion in both PvE and PvP content. With two Debuffing Skills that attack all enemies, and her A2 that switches Debuffs for Bosses, she’ll have no trouble dealing with waves of enemies or Bosses alike.

This gives her excellent versatility in general, and makes her a great potential choice for Hydra, where she can safely ignore [Poison Cloud] and still place her Debuffs with her A2.

In addition to her God-tier crowd control and Debuffing, she has an insane A3 that can provide a massive boost for your big-hitting Champions like Gnut or others. A complete Skill reset on the selected ally, along with a 50% Turn Meter increase will allow your damage dealers them to cycle back to their devastating enemy Max HP Attacks more quickly.

PvP players are certain to love the fact her Passive grants her immunity to [Sheep] too.

Overall, Lamasu looks to be every bit as powerful as her demonic visage and lethal glowing sword make her appear. Respect her Authoratrix.
