Odin Champion Chase Event
Odin is finally obtainable but there’s a catch! There’s always a catch… An Odin Champion Chase Event is about to start with the first person from your group getting Odin. Therefore you have 1/100 chance of this happening if you have some deep pockets or resources that you can rely on.
Why Have We Been Seeing So Many Juicy Events?
In recent weeks, we have noticed more and more appealing shard events in RAID: Shadow Legends. These events, loaded with tempting rewards, have made it easy for many players to burn through their shards and other resources. The developers had a clear purpose—preparing us for the Odin Champion Chase by draining our resources in advance. This way, only the players with the saved resources (or well-funded) players will be able to compete.
What Is the Odin Champion Chase Tournament?
The upcoming Champion Chase Tournament offers Odin as the grand prize. But here’s the kicker: only one person per group—out of 100 participants—will walk away with Odin. And with randomized groups, the competition will be fierce. You could find yourself up against hardcore players like Hell Hades, Ash, or even high-spenders who have thousands invested in their accounts. Alternatively, you might face a more casual crowd, but there’s no way to predict who your competition will be.
The event will be who can obtain champions and champions equal points! So it will be time to pull your past fusions that you’ve saved if you’re confident that you have a chance of winning!
What Are Your Chances?
As Hell Hades points out, in the video below, success in this event will largely depend on who you’re grouped with. Some groups will be filled with players who have hundreds of Ancient Shards and unused fragments from previous events, while others may be made up of free-to-play players who are less likely to go all-in.
The key takeaway? This event is a gamble. If you’re a casual player or someone without deep reserves of shards and champions to summon, your chances of winning Odin are slim. For those sitting on a treasure trove of resources, however, this may be the perfect opportunity to cash in and score a powerful champion.
How to Maximize Points
For those committed to participating, there are a few ways to gather points efficiently:
- Summon Saved Champions: If you’ve been stockpiling fragments from the Doom Tower or previous fusions, this is the time to use them. Each champion summoned gives you instant points toward the Champion Chase.
- Pull Ancient Shards During 2x Events: Luckily, the event coincides with a 2x chance for Ancient Shards, making it a prime opportunity to summon high-value champions while maximizing your points.
- Strategic Resource Use: Hold off on summoning until the Champion Chase begins, and consider using gems to purchase shards or other resources if you’re committed to competing.
Is It Worth It?
This event, while tempting, is not for everyone. As Hell Hades suggests, take a moment to reflect on what kind of player you are. If you’re someone who plays RAID casually and focuses on accumulating resources over time, this might not be the event to blow through your stash. You could be up against players who’ve been quietly hoarding resources or even whales who can easily outspend the competition.
However, for players who thrive on competition and have been saving specifically for an event like this, the Odin Champion Chase could be a great opportunity to add a powerful champion to your roster.
