Path of Revenant – Is it worth it?

Plarium has just released another ‘Hero’s Path’ style event, this time named Path of Revenant, and today we’re going to be breaking it down to decide if it’s worth our resources and time spent to complete it, especially with the potential of a new fusion looming.

What are the rewards available?

Unlike the most recent Hero’s Path that featured a Tier 3 Soulstone, this one is much less interesting and does not feature what you’d consider a ‘big ticket’ reward.

The rewards are as follows:

  • 50,000 Silver
  • 20 Gems
  • 20 Brews
  • 1 Day XP Boost
  • 2 Superior Potions
  • 1 5* Epic Ore
  • 1 5* Legendary Ore
  • 1 Rare Book
  • 1 Epic Book
  • 1 Rank 4 Chicken
  • 1 Rank 5 Chicken
  • 1 Immortal Soulstone (Tier 2)
  • 1 6 Star Epic Ore
  • 1 6 Star Legendary Ore
  • 1 XP Barrel
  • 1 Feast
  • 2 Legendary Books

How do we acquire points?

This time around, the points system has changed up, and will no longer reward you points for Champion Training, instead Dungeon Divers taking its place, giving you points for each accessory or artifact that you gain.

Alongside gathering Artifacts and Accessories, you will also get points for shards being pulled.

This will last through the weekend, where we will have a 10x event most likely, and there is a rumour that we’ll be getting a guaranteed Champion alongside it.

How many points are needed?

To complete…

The left-hand side of the tree = 33,050 Points

Just the Feast = 66,050 Points

Left + Feast = 86,050 Points

Whole Tree = Just under 143,000 Points.

The whole event would take 32 Sacred Shards, which is utterly disgusting, given the rewards that are available on offer.

To complete this event with just artifacts, you’re looking for around 45,000 energy spent farming 5 and 6 star gear.

What we recommend…

We would recommend not specifically going for this event, play the game as you would usually whilst completing the available events (Drop Fever Dungeons, and Summon Events if applicable) and just pick up what you can along the way, the rewards will be seen as extra rewards instead of a drain on your resources.

It’s times like this where we need to pick our battles, and walk away from the others.

Thanks so much for breaking it down HH. Low participation (spending) will force Plarium to take a look at the rewards for such events…Personally I’m taking your advice and playing as usual on this one.

I’m putting down a bit of extra energy in FK for the 5 star leggo ore, but outside of that I’m completely skipping.

Focusing my game on this event doesn’t make sense – it’s not worth wasting time on it – I do it by the way by getting another character to level 60 – I gain exp and by the way drops gear for which there are points in this event.

I just want the soulstone on the right side. Already almost there thanks to living in Dragon during this current tournament. The guaranteed Staltus will give a lot of extra bonuses I wasn’t expecting.

I will get both a 5 star ore and a leggo book mainly thanks to the guaranteed, so this event was at least helpful. The rewards for gear are so small, that they could just have made this a normal champ chase.
