Today we received information from Plarium that there will be a 2-for-1 event happening in Raid Shadow Legends for Ancient Shards this week. We have seen many of these events in the past and the rules are simple, if you pull a legendary from ancient shards during the event, you will receive another legendary as a bonus.

These events basically create a mini 2x ancient event because although the chance of pulling a legendary is still lower than usual, you will get 2 rather than one if you do get lucky. These events are a great way to pick up some legendary champions for your account – especially if you think that you are close to hitting the mercy system.

On Tuesday, April 18th, we’re planning to launch Extra Legendary event for Ancient Shards
You’ve already familiar with the mechanics, if you summon a Legendary Champion from an Ancient Shard during this event, you’ll get a different, extra one from that same Shard. It works only once per user per event.

You won’t be charged Silver for the Extra Summon. Although keep in mind, the Extra Champion won’t be counted towards Quests, Events, or Tournaments.

It’s important to remember we are currently in the middle of a Fusion Event, and although there is a 2x Sacred Event expected this weekend, you may need to hold onto your Ancient Shards to top up any additional required points for the Champion Chase Tournament.

This event will also not align with any Summon Rush or Champion Chase Tournaments, nor will it be involved in a Clan vs Clan Tournament, so your only chance of rewards is via the shards you open.

These events are fantastic if you know you are close to the Pity System giving you a guaranteed Legendary as you can get 2 for very few shards, but think carefully and make the right decision for your account.
