Raid Clan Wars News
Raid: Shadow Legends developer Plarium has been teasing us with tidbits of Raid Clan Wars news over the last week or so.
While we still have no solid information, there’s been much speculation about how Clan Wars will be implemented in Raid. HellHades covers everything we know so far in his video below, so let’s see what’s in store!
Raid Clan Wars: What We Know
Release Date
One thing we do know for sure is the release date. Clan Wars are coming on July 10th, 2024.
Clan Fortress
The new Clan Wars will take place on a brand new Clan Fortress map location, with Clans fighting for key points on the map. The Fortress we’ve seen so far consists of various structures, inlcuding Defence Towers, Magic Towers, and Posts. These structures protect the Clan Stronghold, and it seems they can be leveled up too.
Clan Stronghold
The stronghold will be the beating heart of every Clan Fortress, and a valuable building that Clans will have to conquer or protect, respectively.
The Stronghold also looks to be the main structure you’ll need to upgrade before you can upgrade additional buildings in the Clan Fortress as well.
Interestingly, it seems that more than one Clan Stronghold will be available in the Clan Fortress in the future, too.
New Resources
While we don’t yet know what they are, we do know there will be new resources specifically for Clan Wars.
What they could be is anyone’s guess at this point – mega Affinity potions? Scrolls that unlock all a Champion’s abilities at once?
We’ll have to wait and see for now.
Raid Clan Wars: What We Don’t Know
So far, while it seems like Clans will need to place teams at the various locations on their Fortress Map to defend it, it’s not clear how this will work in detail. It’s also not clear what bonuses buildings will offer defending Clan teams, and whether these bonuses will transfer to attackers that successfully occupy buildings.
From what we’ve seen of the Clan Fortress map so far, it’s hard to gauge the actual size. It’s clear that we’ve only been given a snippet of the full map to look at, so it could be much bigger. Finally, we have no idea about the rewards on offer for fighting in Clan Wars, other than we expect them to be very significant. There’s a good chance the new mystery items will be included in the rewards too, of course.
