Skeletor Overview
“Everything comes to he who waits… and I have waited so very long for this moment.” Skeletor, the iconic master of evil, has long sought the secrets of Castle Greyskull. Now, his ambitions extend beyond Eternia to the realm of Teleria, where a mysterious power protected by Queen Arbiter has drawn his attention. Upon learning of Skeletor’s evil plans, his eternal nemesis He-Man has joined forces with the Sacred Order, determined to thwart Skeletor’s path of destruction. Skeletor joins the Knights Revenant Faction as an exclusive Free Daily Login Champion, celebrating Raid’s collaboration with Masters Of The Universe.
Beyond his amazing in game visuals, Skeletor provides strong utility for players tackling various encounters. With his Skull Comet [A2], he places Petrification on a target, or Decrease Attack and Decrease Speed if it’s a boss. In Arena, as seen with champions like Mithrala, Petrification is a powerful effect that strips buffs, prevents the effected target from receiving buffs, and forces them to skip their turns. Be warned that this effect cannot apply if the target is under Stoneskin or Block Debuffs. Additionally, Skeletor applies Decrease Speed when Petrification is removed or expires, adding valuable speed control. Against bosses, this combination of effects shines in slowing encounters like the Fire Knight & mitigating damage universally, such as Dungeon bosses or the Clan Boss.
To synergize with his A2, Skeletor’s default ability increases the duration of random debuffs on the target with each hit, which is particularly useful in content like The Iron Twins, where keeping effects active longer is key. His Begone, Fools! [A3] places Increase Accuracy on allies, steals Block Debuffs and one random buff from enemies, then decreases enemy Turn Meters by 15%, or 30% if they’re from the Telerian League – home to his archnemesis, He-Man. This ability not only helps allies meet accuracy thresholds if they lack sufficient stats but also enhances Skeletor’s own chances of landing his effects. Lastly, his passive increases his accuracy by 20 when enemies attempt certain effects and provides a chance to place Decrease Resistance on enemies who attack him, which, when combined with Increase Accuracy, significantly reduces the stats required to land your effects.
Overall, Skeletor will be an excellent early game progression champion capable of applying crucial debuffs as you climb the dungeon and clan boss stages but as you progress you will find his utility less useful and his ability to push your account will be less valuable.
