Tatsu Overview

Slicing in to action with her Purgation Blade, Tatsu joins the Shadowkin Faction to celebrate her first appearance in Call Of The Arbiter Episode 6.

Although Tatsu is blinded by darkness, her Heightened Senses [P] stops her being controlled by her foe! The core mechanics of her skills revolve around inflicting damage & crowd controlling enemies, creating a synergy to take on many encounters in Raid. Starting with Wraith Explosion [A1] she grants a 100% chance of placing a 50% Decrease Resistance & Sleep Debuff on all enemies, followed by a 10% Turn Meter boost for each Debuff placement. The Sleep debuff has niche ways to utilise it efficiently, due to the fact enemies can be woken upon being hit, although taking this into content such as the Arena creates a great set up for your allies, whilst the Turn Meter fill will help Tatsu cycle round to her other skills faster!

Slashing her enemies with Purgation Blade [A3], before attacking she removes all debuffs from herself, then will steal all buffs from a target enemy. Having a way to steal buffs from tedious enemies can be great, and if you happen to kill the target she will place protected Increase Attack & C DMG buffs to amplify her damage potential. Last but not least, Tatsu is immune to sleep debuffs to prevent champions such as Prince Kymar & Siphi controlling her, and will increase her accuracy by 10 & C Dmg by 3% for each buff on the enemy team.

Damage Grading has assessed Tatsu based on 20 enemy buffs with her passive (which can be 5 enemies with 4 buffs each / or 4 enemies with 5 buffs each) adding a bonus of 60% Critical Damage. Note: The passive is additive for the critical damage, not multiplicative.

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
