Vizug the Noxious Overview

Leading a rabble of the Ogryn is no mean feat. Constant infighting and honor trials have led to a near Catastrophe as foes of the Ogryn Tribes look towards their borders. However, there is one amongst them capable of bringing order to their ranks. Vizug the Noxious is the Faction Unity champion of the Ogryn Tribes Faction.

Vizug’s presence alone is enough to spread a wave of fear among his foes, as he’s the master of Poison and flames. His merciless assault begins by placing two 5% Poisons & a HP Burn Debuff on enemies. This combination of effects will be strong for various waves & Bosses, and is the core for the rest of his skills. His Faction Unity [P] will enhance the value of these effects by 30%, increases the damage your allies deal, then makes those Debuffs protected if the full bonus is activated. This can be powerful in prolonged battles such as the Hydra & Clan Boss, and synergises well with the instant activation of Burns & Poisons [A1]. Leading into the A3, he places a 50% Increase Accuracy buff on allies, then increases enemy Debuffs & decreases ally Debuffs by 1 turn. This will alleviate the accuracy stats required to place your Debuffs, whilst ensuring your enemies remain under the effects you put on them!

The second set of Faction Unity skills also brings his skills to life [A3]. These come in the form of Increase Speed buffs, making the duration 2 turns instead, then healing allies by 2% [up to 50%] for every enemy / ally that had Debuffs increased or decreased. This makes Vizug a viable Increase Speed option for Clan boss with just 1 ally bonus, and the healing value will be strong for Faction Wars & The City of Sintranos [as examples].

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
