Wuzgar Overview

A steam punk mountain Shaman has been spotted roaming the dark caves of Teleria, wielding his majestic axe to inflict restorative damage! Wuzgar is a Epic HP champion from the Ogryn Tribes faction.

If you desire a multi hit champion with the ability to provide heals and support for your allies, then Wuzgar is your Ogre! This Epic shines primarily for the Fire knights castle, with a quad hit default skill to crack the shield, coinciding with other ways to control this. His A2 heals all allies by 10% of his MAX HP, therefore building him with high HP is optimal, followed by placing a counter attack buff on himself. This is ideal if the Fire knight isn’t fully turn meter controlled, immediately granting Wuzgar to take 4 bonus hits on the shield.

With sacred magic pumping out of his majestic skull, Tusked protection (A3) places a 30% Reflect damage and a Shield buff equal to 20% of this champions MAX HP on all allies for 2 turns. As mentioned earlier to manipulate the bosses shield, this buff will instantly reduce the counters by 5 (Granted all champions have it active), therefore the synergy of his entire skills set is built to make this encounter simple for players progressing. Briefly moving on from the Fire Knight, Wuzgar can hold great support value for the Faction Wars, or being a tank in the Arena, with a passive that restores Destroyed MAX HP to counter champions with the ability to do so. We might also see him as a support champion in some Clan Boss teams with damage coming from that 4 hit A1 through Giant Slayer Proc’s.

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
