Speed Artifact Frenzy is Incoming
Plarium announced on the 21st of May 2021, that on Monday, May 24th, they are planning to launch an x2 event for dropping Speed set artifacts at Dragon’s Lair. So, watch out for the Drop Frenzy label in-game to know the event is live. The event will be active for 72 hours.
The Speed sets are the most sought-after set in the game as speed is needed in the majority of the game, especially the arena! After the last drop frenzy for the stun artifacts. They have listened to their player base requests for the speed artifact to be the next one and have come through.
This is much needed for the game and may well be a way to appease their player base after the insanely controversial AMA on Reddit earlier this week.
So, get your gems ready, get as much energy as you can, and go into the highest level of the dragon’s lair you can farm and click replay for 72 hours – this is huge!!!

So far the event is trash. 6 speed pieces so far and they are all garbage. 60 runs on level 25, what a waste!
Feeling same-ish about the event. Skipped Stun Frenzy, but yesterday when I re-worked the set percentages, I realized that the chance for the Frenzy target set to drop pieces isn’t a high enough increase to consider these events as a way to farm with any certainty.
Just topped 6K energy into 24 and I have more Avenging/Frost than Speed. Accuracy and Stalwart I have the same amount of artifact drops as Speed pieces. Out of all those runs, I have flat-stat DEF LS boots and that’s the only LS so far. Drop-rates, RNG, blah-blah-blah. Lotsa folks are gonna’ hit this event having just been the beneficiaries of the Arena changes & probably see Dragon as a way to catch up even more, gearing-wise. I’m sorted & actually interested in the final spread (just sets) from what I’m trying to target as a 10K energy spend. But imagine being resource-poor and only being able to run, say, 50x thru D20. I can imagine that without some streak of luck plenty of players are gonna’ feel like they threw away everything they had saved to walk away mostly empty-handed.
