Tatura Rimehide Christmas Fusion Announcement
The Long-awaited Christmas Fusion is here. Will this new champion be another Sir Nic or Tormin the Cold or will we have another Pyxniel? We will just have to wait and see, but from the looks of her skill set She might find her way into a lot of our teams.
Here are all the details we have, so far, of Tatura Rimehide
Faction – High Elves
Rarity – Legendary
Type – Defense
Affinity – Spirit
Tatura Rimehide is intended to help you with PvE content, mainly HYDRA and Doom Tower.
Thanks to A1, which has a Decrease ACC debuff with a 100% chance when booked, he’ll allow keeping Bosses with only a half of their ACC.
With the help of A2, Tatura will protect your team from being debuffed and will also increase your team DEF.
Using A3, he will shield himself and put allies under a Perfect Veil.
Tatura’s Passive skill will allow you to reflect damage back to the attacker, thus, helping you to increase the damage inflicted to Hydra. Moreover, this skill gives Tatura a chance to place a Freeze debuff when attacked which might be helpful to control the waves.
Skills A1 – Solar Ray
Attacks 1 enemy. Has an 80% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ACC] debuff for 2 turns.
A2 – Wings of Shelter
Places a [Block Debuffs] buff and a 60% [Increase DEF] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
CD – 5 (not booked)
A3 – Otherworld Breach
Attacks all enemies. Places a [Perfect Veil] buff on all allies except this Champion for 2 turns. Also places a [Shield] buff on this Champion for 2 turns equal to 20% of the damage inflicted.
CD – 5 (not booked)
A4 – Glimmer Hide [P]
When attacked, reflects 30% of the damage this Champion receives back to the attacker. Also has a 30% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff on the attacker for 1 turn.

I would if i had the resources to rank up the epics to fuse him. I might go for one of the epics, but not the legendary. He looks really good though!
Since we just got Aleksander as a High Elf Legendary, I would have preferred it to be a different Faction.
Since it is a fusion will have to see which is better, Legendary or 4 Epics before I decide whether or not I attempt to get her.

Are fusions like this generally worth going for as a mid-game f2p? Demythia completely changed my account, and two of the other epics from her fusion have spots in at least faction war teams.
It seems like an awful lot of investment for one legendary that is designed to impact one third of one part of the game.
IMO, yes, fusions are worth it. It’s the only reliable way to get some great champs. It’s a lot of resources and time, but if can do it you should. Depends on the champ of course. Some are better than others. This one looks very good.
Yes and yes. It is an awfull lot of investment, but it is is also worth it. Especially when you have a free to play account these events require a lot of prepping. The good side of that, is that you are working towards an event, saving up your resources and shards en be able to effectively use them towards an goal. A significant good side effect is dat these events usually go hand in hand with 2x/10x events which can very wel “produce” their own legendaries sometimes even better than the one you’re hunting (Got duchess during Vlad event). These pulls count towards goals within the fusion event like champion chase en summon rush or make champion training usefull beyond te event.
You also get some extra resources by doing the events, which can be very useful for a FTP.
Why is this champion a high elf again? He looks more like a Lizardman or something to me!

High Elves is one of my favourite factions. After the massive disappointment of getting Alexandr, I am happy this champ seems worth getting! I’ll defo be going for it :D
He does not look like an high elf, I don’t understand why he Is one.
I have saved the last 3 months for the Christmas fusion so i am definitely going for it.
Has it been announced/stated whether this is going to be a traditional fusion or a fragment summon?
Would help to know ahead of time to see if I should take the time to re-stalk my potions or just continue to farm up more silver.

Why is he an High Elf, he looks more like a Lizard.
Absolutely MASSIVE Hydra champ. Should also be really good on Bommel (reflect damage, such as that of Geo, is exceptionally strong on him). Even outside of that, a 2 turn Block Debuffs+Inc Def on what will likely be a 3 turn cooldown after booked is stupid good everywhere and could make him viable on ally protect clan boss teams.
This is a champ worth getting.
That champ has witten hydra all over him, so yes, definitely going for him…

If you are new and not willing to throw a ridiculus amount of money at the game, then you probably won’t get the legendary. You might be able to get an epic, but probably not Tatura.

This faction is already packed and we keep getting more and more of that same shat.
I am in mid game and like everybody I need Skinwalkers, Orgryn, Shadow, Demons but certainly not Elves.

He will be a great addition for Hydra in teams without Shamael. I will definitely go for this one.
