Vlad the Nightborn – Halloween Fusion!
It’s that time of year again! Halloween fusion has been officially announced… And he’s VOID!
Hey folks!
On Thursday, October 28th, we’re planning to launch a Champion Fragment event with a new Champion – Vlad the Nightborn.
Faction – Undead Hordes
Rarity – Legendary
Type – Attack
Affinity – Void
Here’s Plariums opinions on Vlad, and where he’ll be useful.
Vlad the Nightborn should be viable in both PvP and PvE battles. Let’s get into his skill set.
With A1, he’ll heal himself and decrease the MAX HP of the target. This skill might be super helpful in long battles against Bosses.
With A2, Vlad will decrease the Turn Meter of all enemies. And he’ll steal the Turn Meter of enemies from Bannerlord, Sacred Order, High Elf Factions. On top of that, he’ll place Leech on all enemies. If Boss doesn’t have immunity to Turn Meter reduction, this skill should be extremely useful in Boss fights. Moreover, you’ll be able to control waves in PvE battles with that Turn Meter reduction.
With the help of A3 Vlad will attack a single target debuffing them with Decrease DEF and Block Active Skills. This should be pretty good on Arena to control a particular enemy.
And, of course, his Passive skill. Being a vampire descendant, Vlad will be able to return to life when killed – each time he kills an enemy, he will place Revive on Death buff on self.
Vlad the Nightborn will also have the synergy with another Halloween Champion – Konstantin the Dayborn. Vlad will be able to fill his own Turn Meter and fully heal himself when killing an enemy once having Konstantin in his team.
Skills:
A1 – Thirsting Blade
Attacks 1 enemy. Decreases the target’s MAX HP by 30% of the damage inflicted. Also heals
this Champion by 30% of the damage inflicted.
A2 – Exsanguinate – CD – 4 turn
Attacks all enemies. Has a 75% chance of placing a [Leech] debuff for 2 turns.
Also has a 75% chance of stealing 50% of the Turn Meter from Champions from the
Bannerlord, Sacred Order, or High Elf Factions. Has a 75% chance of decreasing the Turn
Meter by 50% instead against targets not from those Factions.
A3 – Mind Shroud – CD – 4 turn
Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. The first hit has a 75% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF]
debuff for 2 turns. The second hit has a 75% chance of placing a [Block Active Skills] debuff
for 2 turns.
If both debuffs are placed, place a [Perfect Veil] buff on this Champion for 2 turns.
A4 – Notorious [P]
Places a [Revive On Death] buff on this Champion for 2 turns every time this Champion kills an
enemy.
Also fully heals this Champion and fills their Turn Meter by 50% every time they kill an enemy.[Will only heal and fill this Champion’s Turn Meter when [Konstantin the Dayborn] is on the
same team.]
As always, we will be helping you with daily updates during this Fragment Collector event, to help you secure your Vlad the Nightborn.
What a stupid way to write the condition on Vlad’s passive. I hate tool tip writers with a passion, any game, no matter where or when.
You cannot tell me that he doesn’t look exactly like Brienne of Tarth from Game of Thrones.
LMAO!!!
I was thinking it straight up looks like they stole concept art from the new Innistrad MTG set coming out next month.
LOL. He is Charles Dance. In Game of Thrones and in that film of Dracula with Luke Evans. XD
Hey does not look like Brienne of Tarth. I mean, I’m lying, but I can type it….. I knew he looked like someone. Just couldn’t place it. The standard, once you see it….. lmao.
i am gona try to make the holloween fusion
When will the Fusion start? its the 28.10.2021 and there is no single active event. :(
Plarium is being sneaky in forcing you to do both the Champion Chase and the Summoning Rush – you can only get 115 points total, of which the CC and SR are 20 points each. If you don’t get 1st or 2nd in any tournament, you have to do both the CC and the SR.
In previous fragment summonings, you could get 120 points without placing 1st or 2nd meaning you could skip one if you completed the other.
It is a bit ridiculous the way the fragments are set up… this will be a hard pass for me.
Can barely call it sneaky any more. Fusions come more frequent, become less f2p friendly ( can’t skip one if the summon events any more), get proceeded by ‘bait’ events that require shards, the x2 lines up with champion chase instead of summon rush, etc. Quantity over quality.
In the Summoning Rush, there has – in past events – been at least two levels of fragments/champions. I’ve been keeping track of the points needed for the various levels – Medium: 1,070 or 1,700 points, High: 3,000 or 3,500 points. There was even one event with a Low level (540 points, with the 1,700 medium and the 3,500 high levels).
To get the fragments for this Summoning rush, you can expect to need 1700 points (to get 5-10 fragments) at the most if you complete every other events and tournaments. I’ve completed this with just Mystery Shards in the past (collected from the market and from campaign/dungeon locations). Since I’ve out-leveled the dungeon locations that drop mystery shards, I’ve got less than 1,000 right now.
The problem with Demytha is that you had Scabrius (20 fragments) at the medium level (I think 1,070 points) and Demytha at the high level (20 fragments at 3,000 points). If they had a low level for 5 fragments of Demytha and 15 more fragments at the high level, then it would have been achievable for most people.
