Why is Warmaiden so useful for a Free to Play account?

Warmaiden is widely regarded as a necessity for a new account in Raid, especially those that are Free to Play.

One of the first recommendations in the game, is to farm yourself a Warmaiden as soon as you can – but why is this?

The simple answer to this, is her A3 ability, Crumbling Blast

Crumbling Blast [ATK] Cooldown: 4 turns

Attacks all enemies. Has a 75% chance of placing a 60% Decrease DEF debuff for 2 turns.

Level 2: Damage +10%

Level 3: Buff/Debuff Chance +10%

Level 4: Buff/Debuff Chance +15%

Level 5: Cooldown -1

The Defense down debuff is one of the strongest in the game to enable your team to do more damage, allowing you to clear through content faster thus helping you progress faster!

With Warmaiden having a 100% chance to land this (after you pass the Accuracy check) on an AOE ability will really enhance your ability to progress further forward. This will see Warmaiden Slot into every single early game team you could possibly imagine, and she will carry through those teams for a very long time.

Because of how easy it is to obtain Warmaiden, it makes upgrading her skills very very easy, all you’ll need to do is farm more copies of her while levelling up your Champions in the campaign.

Where to get Warmaiden?

Warmaiden can be obtained from a few places:

– Ancient Shards

– Mystery Shards

– Deadlands Campaign (THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD FARM FOR HER!)

As soon as you can reach this campaign stage, which with your starter champion will not take long at all, you should farm yourself a Warmaiden and books for her, use this stage of campaign to level food while doing so, so that you are not wasting energy.
