Why you want Warmaiden as a new player in Raid: Shadow Legends
Warmaiden is a farmable Barbarian rare champion, and she is incredibly useful for all new players.
You should always aim to farm yourself one very early on as she will be part of your core roster for a very long time.
The reason she is so strong is her A3 ability:
Crumbling Blast [ATK] Cooldown: 4 turns
Attacks all enemies. Has a 75% chance of placing a 60% Decrease DEF debuff for 2 turns.
Level 2: Damage +10%
Level 3: Buff/Debuff Chance +10%
Level 4: Buff/Debuff Chance +15%
Level 5: Cooldown -1
This debuff is one of the strongest in the game to enable your damage dealers to do more damage and with Warmaiden being a free champion that anyone can obtain being able to place this on all enemies with 100% chance is invaluable.
Why Warmaiden is SO good for a new account in Raid: Shadow Legends:
Because of the utility Warmaiden brings with her a3, she will slot into EVERY SINGLE TEAM, from Dungeons to Arena to Clan Boss.
The need for AOE defence down is far too great for her to be ignored – unless you were to pull a champion who could also place defence down as reliably, she is almost a necessity to all new players.
The other thing worth noting about Warmaiden, is how “easy” she is to book her abilities, as you can farm duplicates of her – while this may take energy, and potentially lots of it. It’s way more accessible than books which are always going to be in high demand right through the game.
Where to get Warmaiden in Raid: Shadow Legends:
Warmaiden can be obtained from a few places:
– Ancient Shards
– Mystery Shards
– Deadlands Campaign (THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD FARM FOR HER!)
As soon as you can reach this campaign stage, which with your starter champion will not take long at all, you should farm yourself a Warmaiden and books for her, use this stage of campaign to level food while doing so, so that you are not wasting energy.
Did you farm a Warmaiden when you started off, and how long did you use her for? Let us know in the comments.
I came across Belwar before Warmaden and decided to build him instead for the decrease attack, defense, and reduce speed. Was this a mistake?
Bellower only provides the weak version of Decrease DEF, however he is an incredibly strong champion – but for the job of your decrease DEF champion – warmaiden would bring more
also not have need currently as did get better before but now on doom tower secret room (rares only) i might need to build her…
