2x Ancient Shard Event – 10x Edward Kenway
This Friday, January 30th, RAID: Shadow Legends is kicking off two summon events at the same time, giving players a strong incentive to crack open their Ancient Shards—especially if Edward Kenway is on your wishlist.
Event #1 – 2x Ancient Shards
Starting Friday, January 30, the 2x Summon Event will increase your chances of pulling Epic and Legendary Champions from Ancient Shards. This is one of the most popular event types in RAID, especially for newer players and midgame accounts looking to build out a strong core of champions.
- Epic drop rate: 16% (up from 8%)
- Legendary drop rate: 1% (up from 0.5%)
If you’ve been saving Ancient Shards, this is the time to cash in for a solid shot at expanding your roster.
Event #2 – 10x Chance for Edward Kenway
Running alongside the x2 event is a x10 summon boost for Edward Kenway, making him significantly more likely to appear whenever you pull a Legendary from Ancient Shards during the event window.
Edward Kenway has already generated plenty of hype thanks to his Assassin’s Creed crossover status and unique kit, so this event offers one of the best opportunities to target him directly—without sacrificing the value of a standard x2 summon weekend.
Should You Pull?
While both events start at the same time, the x10 Edward Kenway event will end one day earlier than the x2 Ancient Shard event. If you’re planning to specifically chase Edward, make sure to summon early so you don’t miss the boosted odds.
As always, consider your shard count and upcoming events before committing—but if Edward Kenway is your target, this is about as good as it gets for Ancient Shards.
