3 New Champions Join RAID: Shadow Legends

3 new Champions will be added to RAID this week, as we begin the start of the August 2024 Fusion Event!

The Fusion will begin on Thursday, 1st of August, and on the same day, these 3 new Champions will be added to the game.

Let’s check out the 3 New Champions who will be joining the ranks…

Skorid the Halfspawn – Fusion

Rising from the hellfire of the Demonspawn, Skorid the Halfspawn is a terrifying force, half demon and half spawn, dedicated to unleashing devastating damage on his enemies. Even the mighty Hydra heads quiver at the mere mention of his name. Set to be the Fusion champion for August 2024, Skorid is a legendary addition to any roster.

Skorid the Halfspawn excels as a powerful damage dealer, leveraging Hex Debuffs to amplify his attacks and execute repeated strikes on targets afflicted by this status.

  • Infernal Malediction: Skorid begins by placing a Hex debuff on all enemies before launching his attack. If the target is hexed, his damage increases by 20%. If the Hex is resisted or blocked, he heals himself by 20%. This debuff proves highly effective in scenarios like Hydra and Spider, where single-target attacks on hexed enemies remove 10% of their HP, and AOE attacks inflict 2%. It’s also crucial for targeting the Head of Mischief with single-target skills.
  • A2 – Devastating Strike: Skorid’s single-target attack places an Increase Attack buff on himself before striking. He then repeats the attack on hexed enemies, ignoring Shield buffs. This skill is particularly useful in Faction Wars, Hydra, and Arena progression, enabling him to eliminate multiple foes efficiently.
  • Default Skill: This attack has a 60% chance (when fully upgraded) to spread Hex Debuffs to all enemies or apply a random Debuff if Hex isn’t present on the target. This ensures that Hex remains active, especially when it has been resisted.
  • Passive Ability: Skorid’s passive skill fills his Turn Meter when attacking targets without Hex or ignores 15% of Defense on hexed targets. This significantly boosts his damage output and synergizes effectively with masteries and gear bonuses.

Bowf the Rancid

Bowf the Rancid stands as a very strong new champion, with a unique ability to reduce Poison damage by half. Bowf is the first epic champion to influence both enemy and ally accuracy stats, Bowf is poised to assist players in navigating late-game challenges. Moreover, he is the crucial epic champion needed for the Skorid the Halfspawn fusion event.

Bowf the Rancid brings a unique set of skills that make him an invaluable asset, especially in demanding encounters.

  • Accuracy Manipulation: Bowf’s active skills feature both Decrease Accuracy and Increase Accuracy effects, easing the requirement for high resist and accuracy stats. This simplifies the battle against tough bosses in the Doom Tower or Hydra.
  • Spearstench (A2): This ability extends the duration of ally buffs by one turn, much like Godseeker Aniri. This extension is vital for creating specific Clan Boss speed tunes or maintaining buffs in various game modes, enhancing the team’s performance and durability.
  • A3 – Debuff Cleanse: Bowf’s A3 skill removes random debuffs from allies, a potent cleansing ability that helps counteract harmful effects like the Clan Boss’s stun or other detrimental debuffs found in the game.
  • Passive Skill: Though specialized, Bowf’s passive skill reduces the damage allies take from Poison effects by 50%, making it particularly useful for progression against bosses like Agreth or the Dragon.
  • Default Skill – Heal Reduction: Bowf’s basic attack applies Heal Reduction, which is perfect for negating the healing abilities of bosses such as Agreth, Amius, and the Fire Knight. This ensures that these enemies cannot regain health, facilitating a smoother victory.

Branch-arm Lasair

Emerging from the mystical heart of Mistwood, Branch Arm Lasair joins the Sylvan Watchers faction as its newest rare champion. Wielding blades infused with enchanted roots, this formidable warrior is poised to carve his way through any adversary. As part of the Skorid the Halfspawn Fusion event, players will need to collect 16 of this rare champion to finish the Fusion.

Branch Arm Lasair combines offensive power with defensive strategies, making him a versatile asset in various combat scenarios.

  • A2 – Nature’s Bounty: This ability, has a chance to place a 25% Decrease Attack debuff on enemies, significantly reducing their offensive capabilities. Additionally, it grants a 20% Shield to allies based on Lasair’s HP, offering crucial protection in the heat of battle.
  • A3 – Rootroar: Ideal for crowd control, Rootroar places a Provoke debuff on enemies, forcing them to target Lasair, while also casting a 15% Strengthen buff on allies. This combination is invaluable against formidable foes like the Head of Decay or the Magma Dragon and proves equally effective in Faction Wars and Secret Rooms. The Strengthen buff reduces incoming damage, working in tandem with the Shield to enhance team survivability.
  • A1 – Triple Hit: This basic attack deals damage and heals Lasair by 3% with each hit. It’s particularly effective against the Fire Knight, as the triple hit can help break through the shield counters of this formidable adversary.
