Althar Boss Guide | Invokers: Titan Legacy

Althar the Bone Lich is an early Relic Boss in Invokers: Titan Legacy. He summons an Undead army, disrupts your team with Fatigue and Crush Corruption, and punishes Bleed with his Bloodless Passive.

Althar is also the best early-game Relic farm for most accounts. His drop pool includes Accuracy, Spark, Resistance and Crit Damage, giving you several valuable sets as you build your first teams.

This guide covers Althar’s mechanics, the best strategy for beating him, his Relic drops, and the key mistakes to avoid.

Althar Visual 1

Quick Strategy

Stay grouped around Althar and bring high damage with strong Move SPD. Kill priority Minibosses quickly and use Block Revive to stop them returning. Fatigue and Crush Tolerance help keep your team alive. Never bring Bleed against Althar.

Main Threats

Fatigue
Deals damage based on MAX HP and reduces Move SPD.

Crush
Stuns your Invoker and makes them take 100% more damage.

Summoned Army
Althar continually brings Undead into the fight.

Ultimate Mana Drain
Several attacks can strip Ultimate Mana from your team.

Best Counters

Block Revive
Stops dangerous Minibosses returning through Deadraise.

Move SPD
Helps your team recover from Althar’s Push and Launch effects.

Resistance
Helps your Invokers resist several disruptive effects.

High Damage
Althar becomes harder to control as his Undead army grows.

Althar Relic Drops

Every successful Althar run drops one random Relic. Higher stages offer better Rank and Rarity chances, making each stage worth pushing as your team improves.

Althar can drop the following Relic sets:

  • Vampire
  • Spark
  • Resistance
  • Accuracy
  • Crit Damage
  • Bloodrot Tolerance
  • Mindfog Tolerance
  • Frost Tolerance

Why Althar Is the Best Early-Game Relic Farm

Althar is the best early-game Relic Boss to farm for most accounts. Accuracy is the main reason.

Accuracy is needed across almost every Invoker build. Your Invokers need enough Accuracy to reliably land their important effects, so building a strong collection of Accuracy Relics should be an early priority.

His other drops keep Althar valuable past your first Accuracy sets. Spark provides Skill SPD, Resistance helps against enemy effects, and Crit Damage supports damage-focused Invokers.

This makes Althar a strong boss to farm repeatedly during early progression. You are not chasing one niche Relic set. Several parts of his drop pool can improve Invokers across your roster.

How to Beat Althar

Althar Fight 1

Althar is a fast-paced fight where positioning and target priority matter just as much as raw damage. His summoned Undead become increasingly dangerous if you leave them alive, so your team needs to control the army without losing pressure on Althar.

Stay Grouped Around Althar

Keep your Invokers close together and position them around Althar. He can teleport to the furthest Invoker, so spreading your team across the arena makes the fight harder to control.

Althar can also Push and Launch your Invokers away from the fight. Move SPD helps them return quickly and maintain pressure.

Never Bring Bleed: Do not use Bleed against Althar. His Bloodless Passive grants him Invincibility each time a Bleed is cast on him. This can stop your damage and waste valuable time.

Control the Undead Army

Althar regularly summons Undead Minions and Minibosses through Deadcall. His army can reach 10 Minions and 2 Minibosses, so ignoring the summons can quickly overwhelm your team.

You do not need to chase every small Minion around the arena. Focus on the most dangerous targets, kill them quickly, then return your damage to Althar.

Prioritise the Death Giant and Necroknight

Althar Fight 2

Death Giant: The Death Giant can drain Ultimate Mana and disrupt your positioning. It appears from the left portal during its wave, so positioning Invokers nearby lets you attack it as soon as it enters the arena.

Althar Fight 3

Necroknight: The Necroknight can reduce Move SPD, Crit DMG, Crit Rate and ATK. It appears from the right portal during its wave. Kill it quickly to stop these effects from weakening your team and slowing the fight.

Use Block Revive

Block Revive is one of the strongest tools for this fight. Althar’s Deadraise heals his surviving army, increases their ATK and revives dead Minions.

Use Block Revive on priority Minibosses to remove them permanently. This keeps Althar’s army under control and reduces the value he gets from Deadraise.

Keep Damaging Althar

Do not turn the battle into an endless Minion clear. Althar becomes harder to manage as the fight continues, so maintain damage on the boss whenever the dangerous summons are under control.

High damage and strong Move SPD make this much easier. Kill priority targets, regroup around Althar, then return your focus to the boss.

ALTHAR’S CORRUPTIONS AND SKILLS

Althar uses Fatigue and Crush Corruption alongside a kit built around displacement, Ultimate Mana loss and his Undead army. Learning these mechanics makes later stages much easier to read.

Fatigue Corruption

Fatigue deals damage based on the affected Invoker’s MAX HP and reduces Move SPD. Its stacks have infinite duration, so the pressure builds during longer fights.

Fatigue Tolerance reduces both the damage and Move SPD penalty from each stack.

Crush Corruption

Crush stuns the affected Invoker and prevents movement or Skill use. The target also takes 100% more damage for the duration of the effect.

Crush Tolerance reduces the stun duration and shortens the period where your Invoker takes increased damage.

Bloodless

Bloodless is Althar’s Passive and the reason Bleed should never enter this fight. Each Bleed cast on Althar grants him Invincibility for a duration set by the stage.

Shadefall

Shadefall attacks every enemy and applies Fatigue Corruption. Repeated casts add more Fatigue pressure, dealing MAX HP damage and reducing your team’s Move SPD.

Combo Attack

Althar’s Combo Attack has three strikes with different target patterns. Later hits can attack multiple Invokers and drain Ultimate Mana.

Realmbreak

Realmbreak attacks around every target in two waves. It Launches Invokers, knocks them away from Althar and drains Ultimate Mana.

This is one of the main reasons Move SPD has so much value against Althar. Faster Invokers can return to position sooner after being displaced.

Deadcall

Deadcall summons Althar’s Undead army and applies Crush Corruption. Its waves rotate between the Death Giant, Necroknight and smaller Undead Minions.

Althar stops summoning Minibosses once two are active. He also stops summoning regular Minions once ten are active.

Lifereap

Lifereap targets the furthest Invoker within range. Althar teleports to that target, attacks them, pushes them away and applies Crush Corruption.

Keeping your team grouped limits the disruption from Lifereap and makes Althar’s movement easier to control.

Deadraise

Deadraise restores Althar’s army. It fully heals surviving Minions, doubles their ATK and revives dead Minions.

The Skill starts the battle on cooldown, and its cooldown doubles after each use. Block Revive lets you permanently remove priority targets before Althar can bring them back.

Boss Immunities

Althar is immune to Crowd Control debuffs and Push, Pull and Launch effects. These immunities cannot be bypassed or disabled.

DO’S AND DON’TS

DO

Stay Grouped: Keep your Invokers close to Althar and each other.

Bring Block Revive: Permanently remove dangerous Minibosses before Deadraise brings them back.

Build Move SPD: Recover quickly after Althar Pushes or Launches your Invokers.

Use Fatigue and Crush Tolerance: Reduce the impact of Althar’s two Corruptions.

Prioritise Minibosses: Kill the Death Giant and Necroknight quickly, then return your damage to Althar.

DON’T

Bring Bleed: Bleed triggers Bloodless and grants Althar Invincibility.

Ignore the Undead Army: Minions and Minibosses become harder to manage as their numbers grow.

Spread Out: Althar targets the furthest Invoker with Lifereap and can disrupt your formation.

Waste Time on Every Minion: Focus on priority threats rather than chasing every small summon.

Lose Pressure on Althar: Return your damage to the boss once dangerous Minibosses are under control.

SHOULD YOU FARM ALTHAR?

Yes. Althar should be your main early-game Relic farm.

Accuracy is the biggest reason to spend your early Relic farming time here. Almost every Invoker needs Accuracy, and building several strong Accuracy sets gives you far more freedom when gearing your roster.

The rest of Althar’s drop pool keeps him valuable after your first Accuracy sets. Spark provides Skill SPD, Resistance supports defensive builds, and Crit Damage gives damage dealers another useful option.

Push into the highest Althar stage your team can farm reliably. Higher stages improve the Rank and Rarity available from his Relic drops, giving you better gear from the Energy you spend.
