Best 5 Uncommon Champions to Keep?
Here’s one for all the new Raid: Shadow Legends Players – the best Uncommon Champions to keep while you work your way through the early game.
When you first start playing Raid, Uncommon Champions form the backbone of most of your teams. Most will get the job done, but these picks have some unique qualities that make them viable for some mid-game strategies and content, too.
This means they can be worth hanging on to as ‘budget’ versions of more powerful Champions until you add more Epic and Legendary Champions to your collection.

He may look like a humble foot soldier, but Armiger can be useful right to the end-game! This is because his A1 Skill can decrease the enemy’s Turn Meter by 30% if he critically hits. Max out his Critical Rate, (and boost his SPD, DEF, and ACC) and he’ll be a nuisance to almost all Bosses in the game.
Similar to Armiger, Shieldguard has some easy-to-overlook value in both his Skills. His A1 has a chance to place [Decrease SPD] on the enemy, and his A2 attacks all enemies while also giving Shieldguard a 20% Turn Meter increase for every critical hit – great for Bosses like Spider. His Passive removes one Debuff on him each turn too.
It might seem unlikely, but this lizard can be a fantastic Stage 12-3 Brutal Campaign farmer, and he’s also a great budget choice for the Spider Boss. This is all down to the fact that both his Skills attack all enemies – when geared up right, he can hit hard enough to blast through enemy waves in one hit!
Looking at her Skills, you may not think much of Zephyr Sniper, but she’s the early-game (budget) Queen of arachnid annihilation! Her A1 Skill, which attacks all enemies comes into its own when she’s geared with Lifesteal Artifacts for Spider. She has some late-game value for Doom Tower Secret Rooms too.
The good thing about all the above Champions is that they’re also fairly easy to acquire from Mystery Shards, and sometimes the Market too.
It’s also not uncommon to see high-level players come up with creative teams involving these Champions for end-game content, so make sure to hold on to them if you manage to pick them up!
