Chaos Awakes Relics Ranked in Raid: Shadow Legends

“Turn Meter Reduction and Steals are less effective against the Wearer.“

• Upgrades: Max: 30% less effective Turn Meter Decrease/Steal
• Stats: HP, ATK, DEF
• Gemslots: one Circle.
• Best Use: Food for other relics.
• Rating: 2/10 – Really bad relic. There aren’t many situations where heavy TM manipulation is used against you–and there are far stronger relics for arena etc.

“Bonus DEF for each 15% HP missing (up to 75% missing HP).“

• Upgrades: Max: +6% DEF per 15% HP missing (up to +30% at -75% HP)
• Stats: HP, DEF, RES
• Gemslots: one Square.
• Best Use: A filler relic for PvE (enemies in PvP stack too much Ignore Defence for this to be used).
• Rating: 4/10 – A decent bit of extra survivability–but you need to already have a lot of HP and DEF for this to work.

“Lose 2% HP instead of 1% Turn Meter when enemies attempt to Decrease or Steal it. Can kill the wearer.“

• Upgrades: Lose 0.9% HP per 1% TM at max rank.
• Stats: HP, DEF, SPD
• Gemslots: One Pentagonal, one Circle.
• Best Use: Lose to Armanz faster by having him simply kill you instead.
• Rating: 3/10 – The HP loss is astronomical without massively leveling up this relic–and even then it’s potentially lethal. Maybe this will be used for some niche boss fights… But probably not.

“Wearer deals 2% more damage per skill activated (up to 10%) and takes 1% less damage per skill not activated (up to 5%) by enemies under Fear or True Fear.“

• Upgrades: Max damage stacks up to 20%; max damage reduction stacks up to 10%.
• Stats: ACC, C.DMG, ATK
• Gemslots: Triangle, Pentagonal.
• Best Use: A damage dealer who reliably places Fear/True Fear as well (or who simply run in a team which has other Fear champions). Helps to hit ACC thresholds for hybrid champs.
• Rating: 6/10 – The main downside here is that it takes quite a while to ramp up the effects and it’s useless against most bosses–not to mention that Fear teams are very niche. When it works though, it’s quite solid.

“Wearer receives 1% less damage for each turn of cooldown on all their skills.“

• Upgrades: Max: 4% damage reduction per cooldown.
• Stats: HP, SPD, RES
• Gemslots: Pentagon, Diamond, Circle.
• Best Use: Unbooked champions struggling to stay alive in Faction Wars or Cursed City.
• Rating: 7/10 – It’s not sexy, but it’s effective. Mild damage reduction alongside decent stats and gem slots.

“HP Burn debuffs placed by the Wearer deal 10% more damage to enemies with higher MAX HP.“

• Upgrades: Max: 50% more damage.
• Stats: ACC, DEF, SPD
• Gemslots: Pentagon, Circle, Square.
• Best Use: HP Burn champions with the Incinerate Blessing in Arena/Siege.
• Rating: 9.5/10 – Absolutely broken for Arena/Siege when combined with the Incinerate Blessing. Half the value is locked behind ranks 5 and 6 though.

“Wearer receives a 15% Shatter buff for 2 turns at the start of a Round. Has a 30% chance to gain a 15% Shatter buff for 1 turn upon killing an enemy.“

• Upgrades: Max Chance: 100%
• Stats: ATK, C.DMG, DEF
• Gemslots: Triangle, Square, Two Circle.
• Best Use: Arena nukers or Dungeon farming. Not worth using against Clan Bosses.
• Rating: 9.5/10 – A strong alternative to the Cat’s Gaze–so it’s a strange choice that this also has limited availability. It works very well without needing ranks, which is a big plus.

“Wearer’s deals 5% more damage and receives 5% more SPD above 50% HP. Wearer deals 25% less damage and loses 15% SPD below 50% HP.“

• Upgrades: Max Bonus: +25% damage, +15% SPD
• Stats: C.DMG, HP, DEF
• Gemslots: Two Triangles, Diamond, Pentagon.
• Best Use: Insane for any direct damage dealer and also for any go-first SPD champion; put it on your most important Arena champion!
• Rating: 10/10 – The best relic of the set. This is clearly intended to be an SS-tier damage relic, but it’s also SS-tier for any go-first champion in arena due to the sheer amount of SPD it gives. The damage boost is also heavily weighted towards ranks 5 and 6.
