Christmas Fusion Announcement – Blizaar the Howler

Spacer

Plarium has just released the information on this year’s Christmas Fusion! So let’s get ready for the festive Blizaar the Howler Fusion!

The Blizaar the Howler Fusion will begin on Thursday, 14th December 2023 and will be a Hybrid Fusion, which will require us to earn fragments to fuse into 4 Epic Champions, which can then be fused into Blizaar.

Name: Blizaar the Howler
Faction: Ogryn Tribes
Type: DEF
Rarity: Legendary
Affinity: Spirit

Plarium’s thoughts on Blizaar the Howler:

Blizaar the Howler will be a great Champion for Hard Mode Fire Knight’s Castle and for Arena.

Blizaar can place Freeze debuff with two of his skills – A1 and A3. With the A1 being a 3-time hitter skill, that will definitely help take down Fyro’s Shield faster and will give you a chance to place a Freeze debuff.

While the A3 has a 100% chance to place Freeze debuff on all enemies and decrease their Turn Meter by 30% – something that will come in handy when dealing with the Fire Knight himself and for controlling waves as well.

Blizaar the Howler’s A2 will be great for Arena as it allows to remove all control debuffs and place defensive buffs on the team. Just build Blizaar with high RES, and you’re good to go against enemy crowd-control Champions.

Also, this Ogryn snowman-like Champ can be very annoying when it comes to their Passive skill, as Blizaar revives himself after being killed and places Revive on Death on self with a reasonably low CD.

On top of that, Blizaar is basically immune to Freeze debuff. So it can kinda backfire when someone is trying to freeze our Ogryn.

Only use I see for him is as a poor Gnut replacement in FK Hard. Will be passing on this one and saving up resources.

Not worth cashing into it seems. Doesnt provide much to warrant spending.
