Diablo IV Second Anniversary Event
The second anniversary of Diablo IV is officially here, and Mother Lilith has prepared some amazing gifts for all of Sanctuary’s adventurers! If you didn’t know if you wanted to join for Season 8 or not, now may be the time to start, as the anniversary is packed with free rewards, and some nice experience and gold boost!
Diablo 4 Anniversary Schedule and Requirements
The event is scheduled from June 3 until June 17, 2025, 10am PDT. This gives you around two to three weeks to claim your rewards!
In order to participate, you need to create or log into an existing character. You can do so on both the eternal realm and the seasonal one. The event items can be obtained on both.
Anniversary Reliquary
To celebrate this second anniversary, another Reliquary was added to Diablo IV. If you didn’t play in the latest season yet, you may not know what a Reliquary is. These are the new version of the Battle Pass. Don’t worry, you do NOT have to buy any Battle Pass to access the Anniversary Reliquary! It is completely free and everyone can access it.

Once you have created or logged on a character, open your map and navigate to the Reliquary tab. You should have access to the Anniversary Reliquary. All you need to do is claim the rewards. They only cost gold (the currency you earn by playing the game):
- Sunflame Lantern Mount Trophy
- Burning Dawn Banner Mount Trophy
- Sunraiser Sword Cosmetic
- Sunflame Sword Two-Handed Sword Cosmetic
- Burning Barbs Polearm Cosmetic
- Burning Dawn Bow Cosmetic
Once you have collected all the items, you will be able to claim the bonus reward, which is The Burning Dawn Mount Armor.
These items are unique and will not be available after the event ends, so don’t miss out!
Mother’s Blessing Returns
Additionally, the beloved Mother’s Blessing makes a return. During the anniversary celebrations in Sanctuary, whenever you return your Grim Favors, you will also receive an additional Gift of the Tree cache. The content of the cache is unpredictable, and anything can be found inside!
On top of the bonus cache, Mother’s Blessing also grants you a 35% experience gain bonus and a 50% increased (multiplicative) Gold rate. This bonus applies to both Seasonal and Eternal Realms, and all World Tiers.
This means that if you want to start a new seasonal character now, you will gain the bonus XP and Gold right from the start! If you don’t know what class to play, or want to know what’s new in Season 8, you can visit Icy Vein’s Seasonal Hub and their updated Tier List for the Season!
