Doom Tower Changes in New Rotation

Plarium just dropped this bombshell with updates to the Doom Tower this rotation! let us know what you think in the comments below.

Patch Notes (05.02.21) Update 3.21

Since the release of the Doom Tower, we’ve been looking for ways we need to improve or tweak it. While we’re still working on the next full rotation, we have made a few changes to the current Doom Tower Bosses to help make them a little less easy to beat with gimmicks and a little more strategy-oriented.

Here’s what you need to know:

– The Nether Spider will now always attack with her second skill, Brood Feast, at the beginning of the round.

– Three of the current Doom Tower Bosses – the Frost Spider, the Nether Spider, and the Magma Dragon – now all have a new passive skill. That skill is:

Almighty Strength: damage from skills that scale based on enemy MAX HP cannot exceed 10% of the Boss’ MAX HP when attacking the Boss.

– Two of the current Doom Tower Bosses – the Frost Spider and the Nether Spider – also have another new passive skill. Here’s the skill:

Almighty Persistence: all Turn Meter reduction effects are decreased by 50% when used against the Boss.

That’s everything! Go ahead and try out these changes for yourself in the new rotation of the Doom Tower. As always, please let us know what you think of these changes on our official forums or over on our Discord.

Having spent the last month building a team, upgrading a 2nd Armiger for doom tower’s Nether Spider these changes feel like a kick in the teeth to the F2P. Not saying they will be of no use to me but it’s time i could of spent working on other areas of the game.

yeah come on, the whales can do it easy, lets make it harder to finish. so that all others might spend in the game.

I spent ~$30 leveling 2 Alures that I wouldn’t have bothered with this speed reduction nerf. They may still work but I plan on moving to more defensive strats because at higher levels the boss speed is just too high. They need to recoup people for wasting their money.

I was also mad at first but having tried the Nether Spider now, I think it’s not bad actually. The changes are just to prevent whales with x2 Septimus and such from one-shotting the spider, for the most part. Yes, we can no longer TM her into not dropping the spiderlings, but you can handle her with a couple of healers/revivers/cleansers and some TM control. You can let the spiderlings be or you can get a counter-attacker because when you counter after they hit you, they do not heal the mother. HP Burn seems the best strategy now, at least for me. Drexthar just sits there and they all kill themselves.
