Double Champion Rebalance – RAID: Shadow Legends
Plarium has announced two rebalances to some fairly recent champions, bringing them up to the power level that they were intended to be released at originally.
Today we’ll break down the changes to mythical champion Androc the Glorious and void legendary Diamant Coppercoin.
Androc the Glorious
The changes to Androc are a little surprising: while his alternate form was due some improvements, we didn’t expect to see so many buffs to his base form too.
BASE FORM
His base form sees a massive buff in its passive, now giving all allies 10 RES for every buff on each ally. Five buffs on five allies should give your whole team 250 bonus RES, if this works as described. Couple this with his essentially permanent uptime on 50% Increase RES and Androc alone can potentially allow your champions to resist almost anything even without building any RES on their gear.
On top of this the new increased base SPD and turn meter boost on his A2 further cement him as a turn boosting champion.
ALTERNATE FORM
Plarium have taken an unexpected route here and focused on damage as the key to the buffs to his alternate form.
Excluding damage, he now boosts your whole team’s accuracy with his passive–but this is nowhere near as good as the buff to his base form, since the purpose of his alternate form is to prevent your enemies from having buffs in the first place… He also has some turn meter reduction on his A2; a nice buff.
The big question here is how much they’ve increased his damage: they would have to up it by a lot to make building for it worthwhile; but perhaps that’s what they’ve done?!
At least his A3 is now a good 3-turn cooldown AoE Enemy Max HP attack against bosses, though it remains to be seen if it’s worth leaving his base form to use it.
Diamant Coppercoin
The buffs to Diamant are a lot less exciting.
His A2 is now has an additional 20% turn meter increase for your team. He has good base SPD at 112 and an ok SPD aura at 20%, but this is really nothing special for a void legendary (compare him to Siphi or Shu-Zhen for example).
His passive got a great change, now applying to his entire team. This will be a really nice boost for Faction Wars Hard, and definitely feels like how it should have been from the start. Remember that it doesn’t apply to all debuffs though, just the five listed.
