Elegaius Buff Review – Is She Finally Worth It in 2025?

In Raid: Shadow Legends, Elegaius has long been considered a niche Legendary, but her recent buff completely changes that narrative. Once ignored for her situational kit, she’s now a surprisingly strong control option — especially for Eternal Dragon and affinity-stacked waves. Let’s break down what’s changed and why she’s now worth your attention.

A Look at the Buffs

Elegaius’ biggest improvements come from her A2 and A3. Her A2 no longer relies on duplicate enemies — it now applies Block Buffs and skill cooldowns to enemies of the same affinity as her target. That makes her a much stronger pick for Doom Tower and wave control, where many enemies share affinities. Even better, the skill runs on a 3-turn cooldown, making it one of the fastest lockout cycles in the game.

Meanwhile, her A3 has been upgraded to remove all buffs instead of just two, while also reducing Turn Meter by 10% per buff removed. Against buff-heavy bosses or PvP teams, this gives him real stopping power and extra utility.

Where Elegaius Excels

Elegaius

Elegaius shines in two key areas:

1. The Eternal Dragon: With help from reset champions like Donatello, you can keep the boss’ skills permanently locked out. Her passive survivability makes him a safe pick even in long fights.
2. Doom Tower & Faction Waves: When facing multiple enemies of the same affinity, Elegaius can chain his cooldown ability to lock down the entire wave, especially when paired with Michelangelo, who can spread his debuffs.

She’s not a full replacement for void lockout champions like Warlord or Umbral, but she’s now a reliable and accessible budget option.

Final Thoughts

Elegaius is no longer the trash-tier meme she once was. Her new cooldown mechanics and buff removal give her  a real role in both PvE and early PvP setups. She won’t redefine the meta — but for players who lack top-tier control champions, Elegaius finally earns a solid pass in 2025.

Build Elegaius with high accuracy and pair her with Donatello or Michelangelo for full control—then let us know how she performs in your Doom Tower runs!
