Evie Frye Joins Watcher of Realms

The Watcher of Realms x Assassin’s Creed lineup closes out with Evie Frye, the sharp-shooting twin from Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. She steps in as a single-target Marksman with a twist. Rather than sitting back and plinking away all fight, she’s built to vanish, strike hard, and slip back out before anyone can retaliate.

Who Is Evie Frye?

Evie Frye is a single-target Marksman with Splash DMG and Invisibility, and she specializes in clearing out the monsters in the right lane of Gear Raid III. She can hold Invisibility throughout the battle and unleash extremely high burst damage the moment she’s deployed.

Her rapid redeployment mechanic lets her hit hard, clear a group of enemies, and retreat, then come back and do it again. That in-and-out playstyle gives her a massive advantage in the right lane of high-difficulty Gear Raid III stages, and pairing her with “Graves” Greybeard, whose Inspiration bonus enhances heroes with Invisibility, pushes her damage potential even higher.

Breaking Down Her Skill Kit

Evie Frye’s initial Redeployment Time is only 40 seconds, which is what makes her hit-and-run playstyle actually work. She’s not stuck committing to a fight the way most DPS heroes are.

The moment she’s deployed, she immediately enters Invisibility and gains multiple rounds of special ammo called Burst Rounds. These reload periodically dealing massive damage and inflict DEF Reduction. That damage climbs even higher against enemies already hit with Slow or other CC effects, so she rewards a team that’s already set up the battlefield for her. Each Burst Round also deals Splash DMG to enemies around the target, meaning she’s rarely just hitting one thing at a time despite technically being a single-target Marksman.

On deployment, she also immediately triggers her Ultimate, gaining massive Penetration, a significantly reduced ATK Interval, and a big damage boost against airborne units. Alongside that, she inflicts Mark of Rooks and a continuous Slow on the two nearest enemies. Anything carrying Mark of Rooks takes extra damage from her going forward, which stacks nicely with how much her Burst Rounds already benefit from Slowed targets.

Gearing Evie Frye

Evie Frye Recommended Artifacts

Her Exclusive artifact, M1877 “Thunderer,” is the best choice. It increases her single-target damage and further reduces her Redeployment Time, making her considerably more reliable in the right lane of high-difficulty Gear Raid III stages. It also grants her additional ATK when no allied heroes are nearby, which suits her solo-clearing playstyle perfectly. Hand of Doom works as a solid alternative, adding more DMG and Penetration, and it’s a versatile choice for DPS Marksmen in general if you’re still working toward her Exclusive.

For gear, run a 2-Piece Warlord or Wicked Vengeance set with a 3-Piece Cataclysm, or if earlier in the game, go 2-Piece Calamity with 3-Piece The Wisdom. ATK Bonus is the priority on the Bangle, with ATK Bonus or ATK Spd. on the Amulet and ATK Bonus or Crit. DMG on the Ring. Crit. Rate, Crit. DMG, ATK Spd., and ATK round out her secondary stats.

Her Awaken III lets her Burst Rounds ignore an extra portion of the enemy’s DEF. Further improving her DPS in the right lane of Gear Raid III and making her noticeably more reliable in those high-difficulty stages.

Where She Shines

Recommened Evie Frye team

Evie Frye is purpose-built for Gear Raid III Stages 22-24, where a lineup of Iovar, Evie Frye, Bayek, Gu Shi, and Vera makes the most of her burst windows. She’s also well suited for Malrik’s Halls of Illusion – Heart of the Volcano.

Final Thoughts

Evie Frye brings a different rhythm to the DPS roster. In, hit hard, out, repeat. For anyone grinding through the right lane of Gear Raid III, she’s a hero worth investing in.
