“FREE” Ninja Soul – Training Tournament Tips
Plarium has just announced a very exciting opportunity for players to pick up a Rank 5 Perfect Soul for the extremely powerful, boss-slaying Legendary, Ninja!
Ninja was a free login Champion back in 2021, and returned recently as a second chance for new and existing players who missed out on him to pick him up for their collection!
With all of that said, however, we’ve seen how these events can pan out in the past; they are not friendly!
For those who were around during any of the previous competitive Training Tournaments, such as the Krisk the Ageless Tournament, where Hellhades went head to head with another big spender in a sleepless 7-day struggle before coming out on top, but the amount of points required was absolutely disgusting, and the second place player walked away with nothing!
Plarium Announcement
You read that right – we’ve got another awesome chance for you to get your hands on a 5* Perfect Ninja Soul!
Ninja is a true powerhouse of a Legendary Champion, capable of inflicting immense damage and eliminating entire enemy teams and Bosses! To honor the comeback of this mighty Shadowkin Champion, we’re running a Champion Training Tournament to give you the opportunity to make him even stronger!
From 09:00 UTC, Wednesday, August 7 to 09:00 UTC Saturday, August 10, you will be able to earn awesome rewards in a Champion Training Tournament! All you need to do is develop your Champions in any of the following ways:
- Upgrading Levels
- Ranks
- Ascending
- Using Skill Tomes
If you manage to take 1st place on the Leaderboard in your Group during this Tournament, you will earn Ninja’s 5* Perfect Soul! The minimum points required for this reward in this Tournament is 15,000.
NOTE! For this Tournament, there is a minimum points requirement to receive certain rewards. If you take 1st place but have not earned the minimum points required, you will not receive the milestone reward. Be sure to read the relevant Tournament window for all information on the minimum points required.
That’s all! Good luck, and happy raiding!
How these Tournaments work
For those who haven’t experienced a Training Tournament of this calibre before, let me start by saying they are truly relentless. While some participants may get lucky with a quiet bracket, others will face intense competition, with multiple players scoring in the 100,000s. In these scenarios, only one person will walk away with the Ninja Soul.
Previous events for Champions like Sir Nicholas and Krisk have shown how grueling these tournaments can be. For instance, Hellhades faced off against another highly competitive player. Though Hellhades ultimately won, the victory came at a cost, involving nearly non-stop farming and minimal sleep. The excitement of winning was almost overshadowed by the sheer exhaustion. Now, imagine putting in all that effort only to finish second, receiving less thrilling rewards such as an epic book, two T2 Soulstones, and some Epic Relentless gear.
I’m not sharing this to discourage you but to set realistic expectations. These events are tough and demanding, but the rewards, if you win, are massive and exclusive.
To succeed, you’ll need an abundance of resources: XP Brews, Chickens, Champions to level, Skill Tomes, Energy, and Gems. If you’re short on Mystery shards, you may need to use other shards to maintain your supply of food.
It’s crucial to have a clear plan. As you grind, know which Champions you’ll rank up to avoid wasting time deciding. Also, reserve a substantial number of points for a final push in case someone tries to overtake you in the tournament’s closing minutes.
For insight into the final hours of these events, Hellhades live-streamed his final push for Krisk. The highlights from that stream, available in the video below, provide a clear picture of what to expect in a tournament like this.
Most Efficient Way to compete
Over the years we’ve had a lot of Champion Training-based events, with the Hero’s Paths for Champions like Altraeon Blademaster, and even some Fusions like Wight Queen Ankora, containing a Hero’s Path for some of the fragments that required Champion Training.
Thankfully, with all of these endless streams of Training Events, Saphyrra has put together some INCREDIBLY useful tools that will help you fully optimise, track and plan your resources to maximise your training point acquisition.
One of the key things to gaining more points, as a summary, is levelling all your Rank 3 and above Champions partially BEFORE you feed them to rank up another Champion, this is because the amount of Points you get for the energy required to do this is incredibly high.
Below you can find links to two incredibly useful spreadsheets that Saphyrra has created to enhance your Champion Training Efficiency, and a detailed video as he breaks down how to be more efficient with your training.
the amount of points necessary this time round is even more disgusting than the points needed for the same Ninja 5 star event just two weeks ago. This time, a whopping 15000 points are needed, against the 6500 points required last time.
The top placer in the last Ninja tournament whaled to 6480 points…he stopped just 20 short well before the event ended. I’d like to think as a form of protest….though maybe it’s just an anti-Ninja attitude lol
