Granyt Doorkeep Fusion Announcement

The next fusion event in RAID: Shadow Legends has been revealed, and it’s time to meet Granyt Doorkeep — a Legendary HP-based Dwarf Champion of Spirit Affinity. The event begins Monday, September 22nd, and brings a new opportunity to pick up a champion with serious PvP utility and solid PvE potential.

Here’s everything you need to know about Granyt and whether he’s worth your time.

Fusion Format

This is a traditional fusion, meaning you’ll need to collect:

  • 16 Rares → fuse into
  • 4 Epics → fuse into
  • 1 Granyt Doorkeep

As always, you must complete the fusion before the event ends, or you’ll lose your shot at adding Granyt to your roster. Expect to spend 1–2 million silver and level up each fusion tier accordingly.

Granyt Kit Breakdown

Granyt_Doorkeep_skills

Granyt Doorkeep is designed as a buff-busting Arena threat with the ability to crack through Stone Skin, Block Damage, and Unkillable setups — some of the most frustrating defences in the current meta.

On top of that, he brings crowd control immunity, team-wide Shatter and Increased Crit Damage, and strong PvE usability in both Hydra and Fire Knight. While his damage potential is still to be tested, the utility alone is impressive.

Let’s dig into the full skill set.

A1 – Triple Hit Buff Strip

  • Attacks 1 enemy 3 times
  • Each hit: Has a 100% chance (when booked) to remove 1 random buff & Ignores 20% DEF

A top-tier buff strip on a basic skill. Each hit removing a buff with perfect reliability makes him effective against high-buff Arena defenses and Hydra heads like Wrath or Mischief.

A2 – Geode Haymaker (AoE Debuffer)

AoE hit that:

  • Places Increased Accuracy on all allies for 2 turns
  • Has 100% chance (when booked) to place Decrease DEF and Block Buffs for 2 turns

This ability mirrors Uugo’s signature move, but with Legendary uptime and extra utility. He brings reliability in Hydra and Faction Wars, especially if you’re lacking strong magic affinity champs.

A3 – Demolisher Blow (Team Shatter + Nuke)

Before attacking:

  • Cleanses all debuffs from Granyt
  • Places 15% Shatter and 30% Increased Crit Damage on all allies

Attacks 1 enemy:

  • Ignores Unkillable, Stone Skin, and Block Damage
  • Deals 100% more damage if the target does not have those buffs
  • Grants Extra Turn if the target is killed

This move is built to destroy buffed Arena units — or delete squishier ones with no protection. Shatter boosts team-wide ignore DEF, helping your entire squad punch through tougher enemies.

Passive – Stonefaced

  • At the start of his turn, he removes Fear, True Fear, Provoke, Stun, Freeze, Sleep, Petrification
  • Deals 20% more damage against enemies with no buffs

This makes Granyt a self-sufficient nuker — he stays mobile in crowd-control-heavy teams and hits harder when the enemy isn’t protected. Excellent for Hydra or fights where debuffs are common.

Aura

+20% Crit Rate in All Battles

An easy-to-use aura that helps optimize builds, especially for players who struggle to reach 100% crit rate early on.

Where will Granyt Shine?

Arena (Midgame to Early-Endgame):

He’s tailor-made to deal with buff-heavy teams like Stone Skin, Unkillable, and Block Damage setups. His damage output still needs testing, but the utility is undeniable.

Hydra:

Triple-hit A1, AoE Decrease DEF + Block Buffs, and immunity to crowd control make him very viable for early-to-mid Hydra rotations, especially if you’re missing Uugo or Archbishop Pinthroy.

Fire Knight:

Triple-hit A1 plus Decrease DEF and increased accuracy means he can function well in debuff-reliant FK teams.

Faction Wars / Cursed City:

An amazing pick for Dwarves. Great survivability, utility, and damage. Makes short work of Faction Wars Hard content.

Potential Weaknesses

HP Nuker Scaling:

Historically, HP-based damage dealers struggle to match top-tier nukers in Arena. If his multipliers aren’t strong enough, his role may shift more into a utility support.

Not Meta-Breaking:

He likely won’t displace top Arena or Hydra picks in endgame rosters. Still, he fills multiple roles with reliability.

Spirit Affinity Limitation:

In Hydra, Spirit is generally less favourable than Magic due to affinity matchups across most rotations.

Is Granyt worth going for?

Yes – 100%.

Even without confirmed multipliers, Granyt Doorkeep offers a high-value package for early to midgame players, and a solid utility toolbox for more advanced accounts.

He’s unlikely to become an endgame staple, but his fusion is worth completing for nearly all players — especially if you want to future-proof your Hydra, Fire Knight, and Arena rosters.
