HH Gaming’s Sand Devil 25 Speed Teams!

The Sand Devil is a key focus for players looking to enhance their gear through ascension. With the introduction of turn attack tournaments, optimizing teams to defeat the boss on the highest stages in the fewest turns has become more important than ever. Today, we’ll showcase the teams used by the HH Gaming crew to conquer the Sand Devil on Stage 25. Check out our full dungeon guide below for tips on defeating the Sand Devil’s Necropolis!

HELL HADES TEAM

Gnut is one of the most powerful champions for this boss due to his Blessed Bash ability and features in all of the HH Gaming team’s strategies. In Hell Hades setup, Siphi goes first to put the boss to Sleep, followed by Dracomorph applying Decrease Defence and Weaken to maximize damage. Then, both Gnuts unleash their Enemy Max HP nukes, with a reset allowing them to repeat the cycle before the boss can attack. This team is carefully tuned to let the Sand Devil’s Sleep expire naturally, avoiding the Slumber Counters reaching 0 and triggering an immediate retaliation. This strategy consistently defeats the boss in an impressive 9-12 turns!

YST’S TEAM

YST initially found a variation of this team using the optimiser, and it’s an interesting strategy for defeating Stage 25. He uses Adelyn for Sleep, who also places Decrease Speed and Attack on the boss. The Decrease Speed allows Gnut to be built with less speed than usual, making the build easier. Riho Bonespear follows by applying debuffs, before Gnut delivers his Enemy Max HP nuke, and Kymar resets the team for a second round before the boss can attack. Godseeker is in a slow Stoneskin build to survive the boss’s hit, and her position in the line up lets her revive and reset Gnut’s cooldowns, with her passive bringing back Riho. They both then use their active skills to finish off the boss, taking down Stage 25 in just 15 turns!

SAPHYRRA’S TEAM

Saphyrra has the fastest team showcased today, taking down the Sand Devil in just 6 turns! The strategy starts with Conellia, YST’s favourite Epic, placing Sleep on the boss, then Riho Bonespear follows to stack debuffs for maximum damage potential. Gnut and Marius then unleash their powerful Enemy Max HP abilities, with Teox stepping in to deliver the final blow. This is undoubtedly one of the quickest ways to take down the Sand Devil… Will Saphyrra find a way to improve on this team? Only time will tell!

NUB RAIDS TEAM

Nub Raids is another lucky player with two Gnuts, and he puts them to full use in his Sand Devil team! His strategy is similar to Hell Hades’, starting with Siphi’s Sleep and Ruella applying Decrease Defence, Decrease Speed, and Weaken. He then unleashes the Enemy Max HP attacks from his Gnuts, followed by Yumeko resetting the skills for a second round of attacks on the boss. This results in an impressive 9-11 turn completion. If you have these champions, this is one of the most effective ways to defeat Stage 25 of the Sand Devil!

NEVA’S TEAM

Neva worked with YST to build a similar team, opting for Siphi the Lost Bride as his Sleep champion. One challenge was ensuring Gnut was built to be consistently taken down by the Sand Devil’s attacks, allowing Godseeker to revive him and reset his cooldowns for the final nuke. Riho Bonespear follows by placing her debuffs, then Gnut uses his Blessed Bash, with Kymar resetting the team for another round before the boss strikes. Godseeker is equipped with a slow Stoneskin build to survive the boss’s attack and is positioned in the team to revive and reset Gnut’s cooldowns, while her passive brings back Riho to reapply her debuffs.

Kind of interesting, but utterly useless in any practical sense to anyone but a super-whale.

Since I don’t have Siphi, I use Claidna for sleep. Riho debuff, double Gnut nuke, Kymar reset.

Before I pulled Claidna I was using Aeila for sleep.
