Is Noldua the Gloaming Worth It?

A new fusion always sparks the same question in Raid: Shadow Legends: is this champion actually worth your resources… or is it another vault guardian in disguise? After getting hands-on time with Noldua the Gloaming on the test server, the answer is pretty clear: she’s not a flashy damage dealer, but she’s exactly the kind of high-impact support that quietly wins fights you had no business winning.

Noldua brings an AoE buff strip, AoE Decrease DEF, a full-team revive, and a genuinely nasty A1 Infeeble that can make top-tier threats whiff key turns. And if you pair her with Solanar the Gleaming, she upgrades from “solid” to “straight-up oppressive,” because a lot of her kit becomes irresistible.

Let’s break down her kit, the best way to build her, where she shines, and what to watch out for.

Kit Breakdown: What Noldua Actually Brings

Noldua’s A2 removes all enemy buffs and places AoE Decrease DEF on a short cooldown, becoming completely irresistible when Solanar is present. Her A3 revives the entire team, adds a large shield based on her max HP, and gains additional turn meter value when Solanar is alongside her.

Her A1 is deceptively strong, placing a two-turn Enfeeble on enemies or Weaken on bosses, again becoming irresistible with Solanar. The passive rounds out the kit by reducing enemy turn meter gains from skills and, when paired, letting Noldua gain turn meter whenever enemies try to boost themselves.

Building Noldua: Accuracy vs Survivability

How you build Noldua depends heavily on whether Solanar will reliably be on her team. If you can guarantee the duo, Noldua can largely ignore Accuracy and focus on speed, HP, and durability. Without that guarantee, especially in Live Arena or Faction Wars, she needs enough Accuracy to function against protected buffs and resistant enemies.

In practice, most players will want a balanced build that allows her to operate independently while still scaling up when Solanar is present.

Best Gear Sets and Blessings

Top-end Noldua builds lean heavily into 9-piece Mercurial, which provides speed, control protection, and Total Guard to keep her functioning through crowd control. Stoneskin remains a strong alternative, especially for go-second or safety-focused arena teams.

Other situational options include Chronophage for cooldown protection, Pinpoint against control-heavy teams, and Supersonic for aggressive buff disruption. Early and midgame players can comfortably use Regen, Bolster, or Guardian combined with Speed or Perception.

For blessings, Temporal Chains, Lightning Cage, Polymorph, or Brimstone all make sense depending on content and build direction.

Arena Performance and Practical Impact

Noldua arena gameplay

In arena, Noldua excels at punishing buff-first teams. Stripping buffs and landing AoE Decrease DEF before damage dealers move can completely flip fights. Her A1 Enfeeble is the standout, frequently shutting down dangerous champions and buying critical turns.

Mercurial dramatically amplifies her value, making her feel oppressive when protected properly. She isn’t unstoppable, but she consistently forces awkward plays from opponents.

Noldua and Solanar: Strengths and Weaknesses

Together, Noldua and Solanar form a ban-worthy Live Arena duo. Irresistible debuffs, turn meter disruption, and heavy counterattack pressure make them extremely dangerous into speed and extra-turn compositions.

Their main weakness is cooldown control. Champions who can place skills on cooldown can severely disrupt both of them, so pairing the duo with reset mechanics or protection is important when facing top-end teams.

Closing Thoughts: Is Noldua Worth the Fusion?

Noldua the Gloaming is a strong, reliable fusion that offers real value in arena, tag team, siege, and even Faction Wars progression. She brings one of the better AoE revives available, excellent debuff utility, and a frustratingly effective A1.

She doesn’t need Solanar to be good, but together they are significantly stronger. If you have the resources and care about PvP consistency, Noldua is absolutely worth going for.

She is absolutely not worth it. The cost of the current sweethearts path event alone is at least $400 to get the 25 fragments. This should have been made known with an actual table at the start of the fragment event. Plarium is just ripping people off. Stop shilling for them HellHades, seriously.
