We think that Siege Mode in Raid Shadow Legends is closer to what players were hoping for when the initial Clan vs Clan system was announced some time ago. The system is a lot more fleshed out than we had originally thought that it was going to be and the team at Plarium has clearly put a lot of effort into the execution. We are excited to see what kind of impact this has on clans moving forward.
Authoratrix Lamasu Preview
Hailing from the fiery depths of Anathraad, Authoratrix Lamasu can be unlocked as the final reward in the Clan PvP game mode – Siege. To recruit her, you’ll need to earn her Fragments from Siege Victory Chests, with the number of Fragments depending on your Clan’s Siege Tier.
Dedicated players and clans who excel in siege events will eventually add this powerful Champion to their roster, however, it is likely to take a lot of effort to achieve.
The way that you unlock the fragments for this champion is splitting the community at the moment, however, we feel that it is for the good of the game long term to have rewards that are hard to unlock.
Yes, we understand that initially there will be teething issues with how clans are matched up in these events but over time unlocking this champion will be a competitive achievement for clans to work towards together.
Tactical Dominance
Authoratrix Lamasu excels in the Arena, where her battlefield control abilities truly shine. Her skills in cleansing, Turn Meter manipulation, and debuff application make her a formidable opponent. She’s also effective against bosses like the Hydra, where prolonged fights are the norm, allowing her passive skill to fully stack and significantly weaken enemies.
Skillset Overview
Zephyr of Conquest (A1): Lamasu’s primary damage-dealing skill attacks all enemies, with a 50% chance to place a 50% Decrease Attack debuff. This skill reduces incoming damage from foes, making it an excellent opener, particularly effective against high-damage bosses like the Ice Golem. Gear sets like Cursed and Provoke can maximize its utility.
Dread Dominion (A2): This terrifying skill has a 75% chance to place a True Fear debuff and a Block Buffs debuff on each target for two turns. Against bosses, it substitutes True Fear with a Decrease Speed debuff, ensuring Lamasu’s effectiveness against any opponent. This skill is especially useful against Hydra heads protected by Poison Cloud, as it bypasses the need to attack directly.
Icon of Domination (A3): Lamasu targets a single ally (excluding herself), removes all debuffs, places two stacks of Intercept, fills their Turn Meter by 50%, and resets their skill cooldowns. This ability is invaluable in critical situations, providing crucial support to key allies and enabling champions like Nukers or Gnut to cycle through their skills more frequently.
Authority Manifest (Passive): Lamasu is immune to Sheep debuffs and decreases a target’s Turn Meter by 5% for each debuff she places on them. Furthermore, it permanently reduces their Accuracy and Resistance by 10 points per debuff, stacking up to 100 points. This ensures Lamasu can outlast and outmanoeuvre her enemies in extended battles.
Building Authoratrix Lamasu
To maximize Lamasu’s potential, focus on building her with high Accuracy and Speed. These attributes enhance her ability to apply debuffs effectively and frequently, ensuring she maintains control over the battlefield.
Artifact sets that boost these stats are highly recommended, ensuring Lamasu remains a consistent threat to her enemies, however, for a full breakdown and guide of where to use her, be sure to check out her champion page.
Authoratrix Lamasu is a Champion worth the effort required to unlock her. Her tactical prowess, coupled with her ability to debuff and support her team, makes her an invaluable addition to any collection.
Whether in the Arena or against formidable bosses, Lamasu’s presence is sure to turn the tide in your favour. Prepare your siege strategies, collect those Fragments, and add this fearsome commander to your lineup.
Final thoughts on patch 9.0 and the upcoming modes.
The Champion Spotlight on Authoratrix Lamasu showcases a character that embodies tactical brilliance and raw power. For players looking to dominate in both PvP and PvE modes, Lamasu offers a unique blend of abilities that can cripple enemies and support allies effectively. Her introduction via the Siege mode adds an exciting challenge for players, rewarding those who excel in strategic combat.
This is going to be a champion that can make a real impact on your roster, however, with the fairly high barrier to entry on picking her up its one of those champions that you are just going to have to put in the hours to pick up.
If it turns out that siege mode requires a lot if time and effort then I’ll be out. I really can’t be bothered spending more time on this than I already do.
In our bracket, you get 1 Fragment for win. Considering the siege takes 2 weeks it would take 4 years of nonstop wins to get the champ. Plarium is getting progressively more insane. I will be participating since it takes very little time to setup defence but don’t expect anything from it tbh. Rewards are just not worth it.
