RAID: Shadow Legends – Update Preview 10.55
Plarium is rolling out Update 10.55 for Raid: Shadow Legends, and it’s packed with meaningful changes across Siege, Chimera mechanics, champion quality-of-life systems, and new additions. Whether you’re a casual player or a dedicated Clan warrior, here’s everything you need to know.
Siege Mode Expansion

The Clan Fortress siege system is getting a serious upgrade:
- Building Upgrades: All fortress buildings can now be upgraded to Level 6.
- More Garrison Slots: Higher levels mean more Defense Teams for both protection and opportunity.
- Cost Scaling: Upgrades from Level 4 to 6 will cost more resources, as will building repairs.
- Higher Rewards: More Slots = more Florins and Mana Orbs, especially when defending or rebattling Shrines of Level 4+.
Traps – New Siege Defense Mechanic

A major new tactical element is being introduced: Traps. Here’s how they work:
What They Do:
- Conceal champions.
- Apply irresistible debuffs.
- Punish attackers who try to buff on Turn 1.
Where and How:
- Can only be installed in Magic and Defense Towers that are fully repaired.
- Each eligible building gets three random trap options at the start of Siege.
- Clans can place 2–18 traps, depending on Stronghold level.
- Each player gets one trap per Siege, and each tower can hold two traps max.
Tactical Tip:
- Only the first attacker suffers the trap’s effects.
- Smart clans can sacrifice a weaker player to trigger the trap before sending in stronger teams.
Mistake Management:
- Clan Leaders can now remove traps or Defense Teams during the prep phase.
- Removed setups refund resources, and players can redeploy with no penalty.
New Siege Tiers

Two additional Siege tiers are coming:
- Tier 7: Automatically entered when enough Siege Points are collected.
- Tier 8: Requires winning the next Siege with 30+ Attack Scrolls used.
- Relegation: Fail either requirement and your Clan drops a tier—but you retain earned points.
Tier rewards include:
- Mythical Gear
- Crafting Materials
- Clan Points
- Exclusive Avatar Frames
Chimera Boss Balance Changes

The fearsome Chimera is getting tuned—both nerfs and buffs depending on form.
Ram Form Nerfs:
- Reflect Damage reduced while under Fear.
- No reflect at all under True Fear.
- Turn Meter gain from Lock Horns cut from 50% to 25%.
- Duel HP bar halved for easier phase transitions.
But: Ram Form now has increased Accuracy, making debuffs harder to resist.
Lion Form Buffs:
- Higher Base ATK
- Guaranteed AoE attack from Shred Reality
- Second hit from Atomizing Roar now ignores DEF
Some Chimera Trials are also being rebalanced to be less punishing.
Quality of Life Improvements

Update 10.55 brings several welcome usability tweaks:
- Vault Champions can now be used as food for Instant Rank-Up.
- Faction Guardians can now be “Commissioned”—permanently sacrificing a champion to lock in stat bonuses.
- Advanced Quests can be refreshed once per day.
- Clan Quest update: Survive 100 turns in Hydra instead of 150.
- Clan Boss Battle Info: Reward chests now clearly show damage thresholds.
New Champions Incoming

New champions are arriving with the patch, including:
- An avian-themed Banner Lord from Androc the Glorious’ Knights of the Wild
- Several additional powerful champions expected to shake up both PvP and PvE metas
