Deep within the enchanted Forests of Mistwood, Dyana Gloompiercer stands as one of the grand protectors of the Sylvan Watcher Faction. Armed with an axe infused with the power of Majestic fireflies, her silence is deceiving. When provoked, she leads a deadly ambush, rallying her mightiest warriors to strike with devastating force. Introduced as the champion required to fuse Thor Faehammer, Dyana is an Epic Attack champion who reflects the fierce spirit of her woodland home.

This champion is like the Attack focused counterpart to Morag Bronzelock, excelling in AOE damage and teaming up with random allies to take down enemies. Her A3 is particularly powerful, allowing her to place Increase C.RATE and C.DMG buffs on herself before attacking, so you can build her with just 70% Crit Rate and focus on maximizing her Attack and Critical Damage stats. While she can apply Veil for your team after killing an enemy, pairing her with allies who provide Increase Attack or Veil buffs further boosts her effectiveness, enabling Dyana to consistently ignore Shield and Strengthen buffs in battles through her passive.

Dyana’s A2 is also strong, as she teams up with 2 random allies to attack an enemy. If the target is under Decrease Defence, these attacks will ignore 20% of their Defence, making this skill particularly valuable against bosses like the Demon Lord or Fire Knight, as well as for reducing Shield counters during progression. Additionally, her A1 has a 30% chance [once booked] to place Decrease Defence on an enemy with each hit. Overall, she’s a strong candidate for the Ally Attack role, especially given the limited number of Epic champions who excel in this area. She’s also a standout choice for content like Faction Wars and Sintranos.

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
